We've been going to Katie's for 28 years. Best baklava I've ever had. I usually get a gyros, which is delicious, but my spouse always tries the various specials and loves them all. We've tried other Greek places but none compare!

We love greek food and this was one of the best. We had the Dolmades for an appetizer. Delicious! Wonderful flavor and tasty. We were a party of six and we each had something different. The portions were very generous. The gyros were huge and challenging to handle but delicious! I had the lamb skewers! The best! We ended with... More

The service was very good. The food was excellent. We had the tzatziki dip and warm pita bread were excellent. I had a gyros sandwich which was very good and not at all stingy with the meat. My wife had a Greek Salad which she said was very good except for the tomatoes which finding good ones this time of... More

Enjoyed the booth in the Qwest Center as well as visiting the restaurant in person. Loved the gyros, pitas and tzatziki dip!

Just an average greasy spoon posing as a Greek restaurant even when one realizes that Omaha is about 6000 miles from Greece!

My boyfriend said he remembers it being better in years back. The server was friendly, but we were a little uncomfortable with all her teasing; haha, I guess we just weren't wishing for that kind of experience. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular-- maybe we just ordered the wrong things.

Love the vegetarian appetizer platter -- order it for dinner, take half home, it's great the next day -- spanakopita, tiropita, olives, feta, pitas, tomatoes, onions. I usually add some Greek potatoes. Perfect.

Our last night in Omaha we wanted something different from our usual dining experience. Katie's Restaurant was a short easy drive from our hotel on Cumings Street. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Service was quick and the food was very tasteful. When we return to Omaha we will be sure to visit Katie's again

Katie's not only has amazing food, the service there is fabulous. There was never a time where my water glass was empty or the waitress didn't have us laughing. I would absolutely recommend this reasonably-priced and absolutely delicious restaurant.

Went there by myself. I think it is just not worth to be kep open. The owner was chatting with her friend at an opposite table. Everything looked sad and old. Makes you tip twice as much because you feel a great misfortune happened to good people who knows how to prepare food. When you get their food catered,it is... More
