We went here for the first time last Friday. Party of four with reservations and seated immediately! The atmosphere and decor are vintage and fantastic. I'm a vegetarian and got the best crab legs I've ever had in Omaha and the meat eaters eith ne RAVED over their steaks and even a chicjrn breast! The salad bar and wine list... More

The whiskey marinade here is amazing. The service is great and you can not go wrong on any of the steaks offered. Salad bar is classic old school :)

Great place for date night or a group of friends - nice, but not overly fancy, and the steaks are superb. Been there several times, and it's a go-to when somebody comes to town and wants to eat steak. Gorat's? Pshaw... do the Drover!

If you are from Omaha and have never been to the Drover or visiting from out of town go out of your way for this place! Old school lounge type atmosphere but it truly is in my opinion the best steak in Omaha!! And we have ALOT of great steak houses!! My favorite is the Whiskey Filet. It's perfect. You... More

It's great, lots of regulars, off the beaten path-but not far from it. Dark but therefor comfy. The food though is great. I've never had anything I didn't like. One of the great things is the simple but very good salad bar with a nice cold plate to put it on. It's all good, the whiskey steak is great. I... More

We had only one night to spend in Omaha and really wanted a good steak. Unfortunately I don't think this should have been the place to represent Omaha. It's true: it's old and kitchy, but the chairs remind me of dining in an Old American Legion Hall, hard and uncomfortable. It's dark, not in a romantic way either. More like... More

This is the type of place I remember as a kid growing up in Nebraska, that I miss here in New Jersey. We were there on the Sunday night before Thanksgiving. I was surprised at how many patrons were there on a Sunday night; not overwhelming but nice. I had a filet with a nice glass of wine and my... More

the Drover whiskey steak is an Omaha must. The interior is definitely dark and dated, but the food is excellent. It is a hidden gem.
