the Drover whiskey steak is an Omaha must. The interior is definitely dark and dated, but the food is excellent. It is a hidden gem.

Second time eating here after staying at the Double Tree hotel within 100 yards of the restaurant. My wife and I split the Porterhouse and it was plenty for the two of us as we each had the salad bar and split an excellent baked potato. I highly recommends this restaurant for an excellent steak!

Fun place-nice atmosphere. It's a steak house with fireplaces and wood paneling, excellent cocktails, impressive wine list and steaks to die for. Of course...it's Omaha! Great service too.

Supposedly a favourite of Warren Buffet when he's in town, I'd spent the last three years working in Omaha hearing rave reviews about this place. I finally visited with friends in Feb '14. Service was friendly, if a little slow at times, but it was pretty busy. Food was plentiful and well-cooked. Funny old thing, I had steak. There are... More

Ive traveled all across america and mexico and alaska. The food here was by far the best Ive ever had. If you want a great steak meal and fresh salad this is the place. If your wanting a quiet night for your anniversary this is probaly not the place for that since is usually crowded and small. Need reservations for... More

have eaten here several times, not frequently as reasoned below, and at least the place is consistent. decor is throwback, retro--dimly lit, wood accents to plaster walls. I actually do enjoy it, reminds me of a scene from a 1960's TV show; the barkeep can make about anything you want, from an Old Fashion to a Manhattan to a Negroni to... More

It's off the beaten track and rather hard to find. Old building with a dark atmosphere in a rustic motif. It's small and therefore very LOUD. We were celebrating our anniversary and a large, noisy table nearby made it anything but intimate. On a Wednesday night every table was full so absolutely need a reservation. But the whisky steak was... More

Great food. Prime Rib was awesome with very little fat and excellent flavor. Baked potato was superb!

Dimly lit supper club atmosphere with small salad bar. Great tasting steak, especially the Whiskey Strip and bacon wrapped shrimp with citrus horseradish dipping sauce appetizer. Multiple people comfortably brought kids, but there is No kids menu. That said, they will bring an extra plate and allow you to split between a couple kids. Come early if no reservation as... More
