Yum

Nice place. Old school steak house feel to it. Had a great Prime Rib with all the trimmings. Horrible service. Waitress that we had was better cuties for a cocktail bar.

If you like steak, and you're in the general vicinity of Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa, The Drover is where you need to be. Yep, steaks marinated in Whiskey! Its their signature meal, and you won't be disappointed! The Service was great, all the food was awesome, but the steak was the PIÈCE DE RÉSISTANCE! By the way, I had the WHISKEY... More

For us the steaks were good, great, enough to make Omaha a destination just to visit Drover's. We both had prime rib whiskey style. We sat at the Bar, mostly traveling business guys, with 2 locals. We learned that the majority of staff was very long term, up to 42 years, and most 15 years or more. The bar tender... More

Hands down an exceptional steak house! I had an 18-oz bone-in ribeye and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare)! I cannot say enough at the excellent technique that was used to season and sear and slowly cook my steak. I'm not going to bore you with the sides or anything else we ate because the steak alone says enough.

If you want a great steak the Drover is your best bet. Great steaks and super waitstaff. All sizes of steaks but the whiskey steak and t- bone are unbelievable.

One of my favorite steakhouse in Omaha. They have a anomalous Whiskey marinade. The only negative is finding the restaurant but the food alone is worth it!

One of the top 50 steak houses in the US (along with Gorats), the Drover differentiates itself with it's whiskey-based marinade. A bit higher priced that Gorats, the steaks are premium quality and the rustic nature of the restaurant makes for an enjoyable visit. Best to make a reservation (one of the few restaurants in Omaha that accept reservations). Otherwise... More

Have had lunch here several times thru the years and love the place. Nothing fancy just great food, great service and the atmosphere of old time Omaha! I believe it is one of the original salad bars in Omaha and still uses the chilled aluminum plates. If you are interested in a good meal with a local flavor this is... More

Great atomsphere and great food. Not sure what else to say about this steakhouse. When we arrived for our reservation, there was a little bit of a wait, but it turned out well for us. Rather than waiting for our table we chose to sit at the bar. This was a great experience and it allowed to have a great... More

After so many wonderful trips to Drover I finally had a sub par experience. I had always gotten the Whiskey Filet and it had always been great. Decided to try the Whiskey New York Strip. It was tough with a horrible piece running right down the middle. Taste was lacking to bad. And couple that with being seated to close... More
