Kind of hidden amongst the other building, yet worth the hunt. The best steak you could find in Omaha.

This is a great place to go for a romantic evening! Special treat! A little pricy, but worth it! We go here with my parents on valentines day.

Food was good price was ok. Too dark and service was average. Nothing else was poor just a bit pricy for what I had ordered.

Best steak I've had in a long time. Great meal and drinks. A very good dining experience. Would definitely recommend the Whiskey Marinated Filet.

A local family introduced my husband to the Drover on a business trip. He wanted me to try it when we were passing through. It's like walking back into the supper club era. Nice & cozy. Kinda dark. Great service. Wonderful steak. Cool western/ local art on the walks. I loved it!

Drover is a little hard to get to or remember without signs on 72 street directing you to the front entrance. Prices are reasonable for the portions and the stakes taste better than most in Omaha. Darkened atmosphere great for taking the lady out for a great meal.

When I was a kid in the 50s & 60s steakhouses were places with unbelievably good and affordable steaks, big ol' salad bars, even bigger knives with wooden handles and cozy spaces for the tables. Then came the chic years and steak prices soared and hipsters changed steakhouses from homey family places to, well, chic places. Thank heavens for Drovers,... More

Wanted a great steak in Omaha and eat a ribeye at the top steak houses when traveling around the country. Chose this place due to the great reviews but what a big mistake! The ribeye (medium rare) arrived and was beautifully seared on one side and the other side has absolutely no sear or char at all. The first cut... More

Drover rises unassumingly out of a part of town where you wouldn't necessarily expect to see a steak house. Don't let that put you off. The steaks are amazing! Drover is very dark inside so bring your night vision glasses when you first come in. Once your eyes adjust, the combo of rustic wood and brick is warm and welcoming.... More

Finally got to try The Drover after a couple of failed attempts when in town. We were told 20 minutes wait so settled in for a drink at the bar which became 3 drinks as the 20 minute wait was more like 40 but the bar area had a good feel so this was not a problem. Great salad bar.... More
