Don't miss the ice cream

This ice cream shoppe has unique flavors - we had to go back a second time to try new things! All of the ice cream that we ate was excellent.

This is not your typical ice cream shop. For starters, you can watch them make the ice cream right in the lobby. Secondly, there are many unique flavors produced daily – so many, in fact, that a chalk board is used to list them. Be sure and ask for a sample if you want to try something before buying. And... This little Omaha ice cream shop in Old Market serves hundreds of customers daily and no wonder! Many interesting, yummy flavors are created each day, and two of them are prepared in 100 yr. old churns right in front of your eyes. The few minutes you may spend on line is worth the wait. Sorbet and vegan ice cream are... More

Fantastic ice cream. We have eaten ice cream all over the country and this is some of the best from Brooklyn NY to San Francisco Ted and Wally's can stand up agains the best. The ice cream tastes very fresh and light on the palate. You can tell the recipes are pure and the unusual flavors are a delight! I... More

My sister and I were visiting Omaha and wanted ice cream. There was a McDonald's near our hotel, and their ice cream machine was broken (thank heavens) so we went to this little local ice cream place called Ted & Wally's. It was awesome! It's a little old place, lots of character, and obviously a local favorite. You have to... More

Best tasting items we had in Omaha. Long line to get served though. We had a vanilla hot fudge sundae and a cup of lemon sherbet. Both creamy and cold and delicious.

Went by after dinner. Lots of interesting flavors to choose from. My son had 1 scoop of strawberry shortcake. I had two scoops of the espresso bean brownie. My husband had two scoops of the mint lassi. Our total was $13. A little pricier for ice cream but the uniqueness was worth it. Great little ice cream shop in Old... More

If your looking for something out of the ordinary for ice cream, this is the place for you. They had some very interesting flavors to choose from, but not a ton. If your a vanilla kind of person, this is probably not the place for you.

The line was out the door and we are so glad we waited. They use fresh whole food ingredients - local milk and eggs (with vegan options available). Our son has a corn syrup allergy and there is no corn syrup to worry about. The marshmallows and gummies are kosher, too. The favors are inventive and fun, with mix ins,... More
