The building is old and has a strange smell to it. It doesn't seem like it should be a restaurant really. But you sit down and try to ignore the strange musty smell. Soft drinks are served in a can with a glass of ice, which is interesting. Service wasn't bad, the lady that helped us was very friendly, almost... More

The tables and other furnishing is amazing; however, the food was not at all good. There are better places if you want a good lunch or dinner.

There really is no place in Omaha for Chinese food that is decent. That said, King Fong's in downtown is worth the visit for the going-back-in-time experience. You enter a cheesy door and go up a narrow staircase. You pretty much expect a peep hole in the door at the top and someone to ask for the password. You enter... More

My niece had recommended King Fong, but we were short on time so all I could do was peek inside. Now I'm determined to go the next time I'm in Omaha. I can't say one way or the other whether the food is any good, but the dining room remains unchanged from the 1920s when it opened. It's like stepping... More

My mom took me here for the first time when I was in grade school. I was fascinated by the tables, tapestries and chandeliers all of which I was told came from China with the family that ran the restaurant. This is not the most adventurous food you will ever eat but it is good, plentiful and consistent. They still... More

Ok, I'm biased - Ive been coming here for 50 years and have never been disappointed with anything. Its been owned by the same family for years, our family has brought generations of us there for special occasions so they must be doing something right! The food is amazingly good, their menu offers a huge variety of delicious items, the... More

Excellent quality, large portions and kitchen is willing to work with special requests. The decor may be essentially the same as it was in the 1950's but that adds to the charm in my book. The same family has owned and operated it since day 1. Yōuxiù! Nothing more to say.
