First visit to this Benihana-like restaurant in Omaha. One of grandchildren was adamant to go there. Very enjoyable! Food was good and plentiful, reasonably priced, and the "theater" was appreciated by all. Very capable and engaging "chef" who played up to the kids. They ate it up (pun intended). Will be back.

This was our second visit. The first was with 3 kids and grandparents about 6 months earlier. Both times service was great, and the food top-notch for being as far from a coast, and Japan, as you can get in the USA. My wife and I lived in Osaka, Japan, and regularly frequent teppan grills near our homes in San... More

I have been a frequent of Kobe for several years and each year the service loses its appeal. Gone are the days you would request your favorite chef and enjoy your dinner (instead of being rushed through). We were sat 40 minutes after our reservation and when we sat down the chef came out quickly. He rushed through the "show"... More

The chefs are very entertaining and the food is excellent. The steak could be better quality, but still tasty. I have been here three times, once as a couple, this was the first and actually the food was best on that trip. Had the same chef the second two times with family celebrations and he was entertaining, but pretty much... More

The servers were very good and our chef was outstanding!! He made everyone feel so welcome. He made sure we all had a great time and great experience. Food was awesome! The Kobe... More

Good food as in yes some elements of the food were high quality while others were lacking. The yummy sushi roll I ordered was excellent and worth it's $9 retail. The shrimp hibatchi consisted of terrible bland mushroom and beef stock soup with a few pieces of floating raw mushrooms that had been placed there right before serving. A tasty... More

I feel like I missed something here. I had heard from lots of people how great the KOBE restaurants are. ( We just got one in my home town) BUT, the food was not great by anyone's standard. The steamed rice was my favorite. My steak was very tough but the shrimp was okay. Over all the meal had very... More

Okay, if you are looking for entertainment, you'll get it here. You are seated around flat steel grilling tables and after you order your "chef" (I would say "cook") bustles in and makes a lot of clatter banging metal spatulas on the metal grill (as do all the others cooking at the same time). He skirts oil on it, and... More
