One of the finest restaurants in Omaha

If you want quality food in a great space, try the Flatiron. The food is first rate and worth the price. This local fine dining location can hold its own against the more well-known eateries such as Mahogany, Omaha Prime, or 801 Chophouse, etc.

Small portions extremely high prices. Terrible tasting food. Burnt steaks no apologies. Four of us went there and not a good meal between all of us. Establishment unwilling to make it right let alone the poor at best service. Wine by the glass or bottle you need to take a loan out on your house . Dirty silverware had to... More

This is a wonderful upscale restaurant in Old Town Omaha. The tenderloin Oscar was perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. With a full wine list you will not be disappointed.

We went to dinner before a show and were asked by our server about time constraints before we could tell her about our tickets. Suggestions from the wine list showed she was well versed in the restaurant's offerings. When I told her I was trying to decide between two entrees, she gave me a very thorough explanation of the ingredients... More

Because of the building being windows all around and the shape of the building like a iron. It is very interesting at night. The service was excellent the food however was not that special

The simply presented dining room gives an expectation of attention to detail. The package doesn't disappoint with a decent wine list, a good selection of surf, turf or surf and turf and attentive-but-not-cloying service. Highly recommended.

We decided to give the Flatiron Cafe a try for our anniversary, and we were very happy with our decision. The hostess was extremely outgoing and bubbly and once we told her it was our anniversary, we were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne (and a dessert at the end!) - which was very unexpected but very appreciated. The... More

We visit the Flatiron Cafe when we have something to celebrate, it's not stuffy at all and the food is always consistent. We had the ahi tuna first plate and the barrimundi for the entree. The entree wasn't anything special, but the service was great! Lance is a true professional.

This is my favorite restaurant in downtown Omaha. Went there last night, though, and was mildly disappointed. Mostly disappointed in the Ribeye steak - it was one of the toughest I've ever had - and this is my steak; I normally order it wherever I go and I grill/broil it at home often. It should be a very tender, flavorful... More
