For a birthday celebration, we went here. Never again. The food isn't that great and definitely not worth the price. Beef doesn't have to be shipped that far in NE and beef now is cheap in supermarkets. V Mertz has a huge margin of profit for the meals. This week we are going anywhere else. more

While the prices usually make it a "special event" restaurant I would recommend V Mertz to travelers who want an excellent meal from a locally owned and operated place. Dinner for two with wine will probably run over $100. more
