Big Fred's is Perfect for Big Groups!

I went here with 29 other people after a volleyball tournament. We were seated in the back room. The server suggested getting a pitcher of a couple of different pops, some appetizers, salad, and pizza. She then set glasses with ice, plates, silverware, napkins, and all of the drinks and food on... read more

I can't believe the negative reviews, Maybe there were a few bad days? I love their ground beef pizza. I love the beef they use and the half inch thick cheese ( my sister always asks for extra cheese when she orders) I love their sauce and I love their pizza! I know Chicago is suppose to be the place... More

Used to be one of the icons of Omaha but soaring prices and poor wait staff have led this Pizza Place into ruins. Ebter at your own risk.

This was our first time dining at Big Freds. We dined on an early afternoon it wasn't to busy. The restaurant was very clean and nicely laid out, all tables no booths. There are TV's placed everywhere so no one has a bad view of a game on. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Chicken... More

When I pay $20 for a medium pizza I expect it to be great...this was not the case. There is nothing unique about this place or it's food. On a recommendation from the staff we decided to try the Big Fred's combo pizza and the mozzarella sticks. I'll start with the good, the sticks were pretty good and they were... More

Big Fred's is sort of pizza joint, sports bar, neighborhood restaurant. Friendly staff and an unusual delicious ground beef pizza! A must try for out of towners!

We have been going to Big Fred's for decades and it hasn't changed. On our last visit, we went on a Sunday evening, we didn't have to wait for a table. That is a rarity. Over the years we have sampled various items on the menu. But our "go to" order is pizza, salad and cocktails. The food never changes.... More

Took a family of seven to this joint on a Saturday night. The restaurant is dark and dingy. We were the first group on the table wait list. We were told it would be a wait, but they could not tell us how long. We asked if we could place a to-go order and have it delivered to our table... More
