Great lunch!

My girlfriend and I stopped in here for lunch. She got the regular B&G sandwich which just consisted of their loose meat. I got the B&G Cheese Frenchee with a chocolate milkshake. Ever since I can remember my dad has taken me here. The atmosphere is real cool. 1950's diner type place. They have malts and shakes and amazing food. This is for sure a cool place to take kids too. Fun finger food type menu. Loose meat sandwiches are just Dynamite! I have a 6 month old now and will defiantly... More

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Was not sure what to expect. I had no idea what a loose meat sandwich is. It is a sloppy joe without the sauce. I would say its ok, probably a local thing. But it was good quality, fries were good. Staff was great. The restaurant itself is a walk back in time, but... More

Kudos to the owners who have brought back old drive inn fun and great food. The loose meat sandwich is something you can't make at home. Yummie fries and great shakes. Fun 50's atmosphere. It is a must go to if you are visiting or even if you've lived here forever and just have'nt tried it. I will take all... More

On our first visit to Omaha we were taken to B and G. It's our 3 year old granddaughter's favorite spot. We were a bit dubious but the place is really cute. We all got the signature loose meat burger. It was good tasting, but not my favorite. But the fries were really great! They play oldies which I loved... More

If you have had Maid-Rite, this is very comparable. The loose-meat burger with cheese was good, the fries are thin fries which I don't prefer, but taste good. The ice cream was very good. They have a bowl ice cream that they will add a candy to, and it was better than a comparable blizzard or blast that you get... More

My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner. It had been years since I ate there. We had a $10 off coupon we wanted to use. I had a bowl of chili and a cheeseburger. They put the chili in a bowl immediately, and there it sat on the counter for about 10 minutes while the rest of... More

Went for lunch today 10 Feb 13 and was not impressed. I wonder how they've stayed in business for so long. 1st time my brother and I visited. We both had the loosemeat lg with waffle fries and onion rings. Loose meat had no taste, waffle fries and onion rings tasted like frozen pkg you'd buy from Hyvee and cook... More

I have eaten at this restaurant for the past 50 years. Great food at a great price. I recommend the #3 with a root beer freeze.

I went to B&G tonight for the first time ever using my Groupon. Now I know why they did the Groupon thing. The food is ok but not out standing. My wife had a chicken philly and the used a hot dog bun instead of a hoagie bun. The place was freezing cold, I think they were just to cheap... More
