We stopped here on the way back from a trip. Guacamole wayyy overpriced. Food was rather bland. Not horrible, but not great either. I guess the pyramid shaped rice was supposed to make up for its absence of flavor? Margarita was tasty Service was decent, but there were only 4 or 5 other customers. The hostess and other staff were... More

The food is bland and precooked. It must sit in vats in the kitchen waiting to be slopped on the plates. This place has horrible service and I can't imagine them surviving.

I have driven past this restaurant multiple times going to work and I always wanted to check it out. We went to dinner the other evening and it was one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. We ordered the shrimp fajitas (served on a plate with some uninspired sides, hey where's the guac?) We had... More

We are from out of town and decided to try the "authentic mexican" food. I have had mexican food all over the country. Started out with chips and "salsa". Chips were OK, salsa bore no resemblance to anything tomato and just was flatly horrible. We both ordered a fave of ours-steak fajitas. I really don't know how you can screw... More

Sure, guacamole made fresh at the table is a bonus, but is that enough to bring you back? How about fantastic enchiladas--chicken, cheese or beef? How about super steak fajita's with lots of carmelized veggies? The margaritas were just a bit "sweet"--slow down on the Triple Sec. Still, our vote was YES! We enjoyed all of the dishes and had... Business Associates from out of town treated us to Blue Agave for dinner. I was really hoping for the best. I thought the food was decent. My finance had a pork dish that was very good. I had the crab bisque soup and the enchiladas. The soup came out below room temp and I thought the enchiladas were just "okay".... More

I tripped into this place after a client meeting. The greeting at the door was quick and friendly and we were seated quickly. Decor is great. Menu was a perfect selection of items on one large broadsheet. Not too many items, but unique. This is not aplace to load up on chips so the bowl of chips is small with... More

The presentation was great. We all ordered the signature chicken dish, grilled over rice with crmelized.onions and drizzled with adobo sauce. The chicken was bursting with flavor. Too pricey for lunch really, but is go back for dinner, date with wife, or take a really good client there for lunch.

If all you eat at Blue Agave is the guacamole that is prepared at your table, you can leave happy. But you'll be happier if you try some of their excellent menu items. They provide a gluten free menu and are very attentive to accuracy. The manager swooped to our table to grab a basket of chips that may have... More

Arriving early on a Friday night, we found the bar operation in full swing. With all the offices nearby it is obviously a popular Friday night watering hole. There were just two of us and it seemed to create a problem in the almost empty dining section to seat us at a table. We were finally seated next to the... More
