It is a bit out of the way in Omaha. Or not. All of Omaha except the Old Market area seems to be out of the way. Atmosphere is comfortable (even if the decor is slightly discordant) and the service was very friendly. We got the appetizer collection with hummus, eggplant, pepper salad, and delightful Moroccan samosas. Nice way to... More

I have eaten at Casablanca many times. They have wonderful salads, the chicken is always tender and the shrimp dishes are perfectly cooked. My husband loves the lamb here. It was seared and tender. The beef was also tender but the lamb was better.

Placed our orders for lamb but then the server returned to tell us that they did not have lamb, so we had to take a couple more minutes to order something else instead. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes and was pretty good. I had a chicken Moroccan sandwich with "smashed" (not "mashed", haha) potatoes and my husband... More

I read the reviews before we visited Omaha, NE. and this restaurant sounded good so we tried it. I'm so glad we did. The food was so good...not normally the type of food we have much, but we can't wait to go back here. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended!! Food is excellent and different from the tired old Italian, Chinese, Mexican places that are ubiquitous! Moroccan tea is exceptional and worth going for in itself! Veggies are wonderfully spiced, I would have them as a dinner alone. Service was excellent, courteous and personnel are good salespeople...waiter saw that my wife and I were VERY impressed with the... More

We originally were originally going to eat at Blanc Burgers and Bottles. We got there at 7:02. A sign on the door said they closed at 7:00 for a private party. I asked if we could still eat. The hostess asked us if we were able to read the sign. We took that as a "no". Anyway, we didn't have... More

We enjoyed our visit before which is why we went back. Had the lamb this time and, Oh, my gosh! with each bite all we could say was "Hmm". It was the most perfect lamb I have ever tasted! And the rice and veggies were very good too. This is not a fancy place, but clean and pleasant. It seems... More

The food is fantastic! The prices are very inexpensive. A terrific man named Hamid is the owner. He is the most gracious host I have ever met, and I am proud to call him brother. It is not unusual for him to roam through the dining area passing out smoothies, mint tea, or almost anything else he thinks of that... More

Hamid, owner and operator of Casablanca, loves to make people happy. He wants to share his love of Moroccan food with every single person who walks in the door. His food is terrific, and very reasonably priced. It's not unusual for him to bring a special treat to your table, free of charge, just because he wants you to try... More
