Went here with a party of 15. 9 adults 6 kids 12 down to 1 year. The food was excellent. Service so-so. They do not have highchairs so expect to hold anyone under 5. Also there is no smoking on the patio. So on a 90 degree day when your trying to help their patrons have a quiet meal, taking... More

We had a party of 6 and enjoyed a really great lunch. The sushi/sashimi and hot dishes were innovative and tasty. The menu has a great mix of traditional and new. Try the Hamachi Kama (grilled yellowtail collar) and Asian short ribs if you're in the mood for a hot dish. The toro was as good as you'd find in... More

The food and the service here are excellent. The broccoli beef is the most tender I have ever had. The sesame chicken is delicious. And, by far, the crab Rangoon is the best ever! The service is friendly and very efficient. However, if you are not early you will be waiting two hours on a Friday night!

HIRO 88--West Maple always delivers superior service and the highest quality food! My favorite sushi at HIRO is the Wasabi Stinger. Amazing flavor! Absolutely the best!

One in our party wanted sushi, while another can't stand it. No problem, because there are many, many non-sushi options here. I had the miso-glazed sea bass (cooked). It was phenominal! Highly recommend.

This is one of the best happy hour locations in Omaha, if not THE best. There is a huge array of ‎sushi and hot appetizers to select from; all of them delicious and at reduced HH prices. There’s also a great ‎wine selection, interesting beers and numerous unique specialty cocktails at great prices. Service is top ‎notch: friendly and professional.... More

We are regulars at Hiro 88 on West Maple Road. Never have had a bad meal and the sushi is wonderful. They make you feel at home and the service is great. Their happy hour is at 10:00 p.m. with sushi and cocktails. Fun time! Highly recommend this place.

Sunday's (or happy hour) are the way to go with lots of great options around $5. We had crab rangoon for starters (4 pieces), then I ordered the Husker Hiro which is a non fish roll. It has cooked beef it in and is TO DIE FOR. Great service, nice atmosphere. The only issue I had is the server said... More

We went to this place early on a Friday evening. It's located right in downtown Omaha on an easy to walk to street. Our party was seated and served quickly at a nice table towards the rear of the restaurant-although there were many other groups eating at the same time, our table felt private. The atmosphere was laid back, trendy and... More
