Best sushi in Omaha

I love Hiro 88! I think it has the best sushi in Omaha, by far. Very fresh, innovative roll selections. Be sure to try the Jimmy Hendricks martini. I initially just ordered it because of the name, but now I get it because it's so awesome. Great miso soup. The service is wonderful. The first... read more

They've modified their menu slightly since we first started going. There are more chinese options available. The sushi is definitely good but not my favorite in Omaha however this is definitely my choice when I'm going out with non-sushi eaters.

We enjoyed the braised shrimp which is one of the best local dishes in the area and the braised beef with asparagus.

I have eaten at Hiro 88 many times and I absolutely love their sushi! Everything always tastes fantastic but even if you don't care for sushi, they also have a full Chinese and Japanese menu. Service is good, the atmosphere is hushed and relaxed, and there is a wide variety of drink options. I highly recommend the divine Wasabi Stinger... More

We have dined here numerous times, usually for Saturday lunch, and usually selecting items off the Sushi Menu. We have ordered different sushi rolls, salad, miso soup, gyoza, edamame, baby bok choy, asian short ribs, squid salad, poke, and a bento box. I don't think we have ever had a bad or unsatisfactory meal. We love the freshness, textures, and... More

My meal of vegetable lo mein tasted off so I asked the server if there was meat stock in it as I am allergic to beef and pork. The waitress said she checked with the kitchen and gave me the all clear to consume my meal. Cut to me up half the night getting sick. This situation is frustrating because... More

Pretty cool trendy interior with lots of space. Large menu. The sushi was good, I don't eat it a lot but I liked it. Hope you can use chopsticks! Didn't see silverware options but didn't ask, plus it's sushi, no forks allowed! Don't get the Bloody Mary though, it's terrible according to my wife who is a Bloody Mary enthusiast.... More

People had recommended this spot on Jackson in the Old Market, but I had just never gone there. Then yesterday I was invited to share in the 21st birthday celebration of my nephew, and they said they were going to Hiro 88 for their happy hour sushi and drinks. Seven of us ate more sushi than we should have (all... More
