Nice atmosphere

Pretty cool trendy interior with lots of space. Large menu. The sushi was good, I don't eat it a lot but I liked it. Hope you can use chopsticks! Didn't see silverware options but didn't ask, plus it's sushi, no forks allowed! Don't get the Bloody Mary though, it's terrible according to my wife who... read more

My meal of vegetable lo mein tasted off so I asked the server if there was meat stock in it as I am allergic to beef and pork. The waitress said she checked with the kitchen and gave me the all clear to consume my meal. Cut to me up half the night getting sick. This situation is frustrating because... More

People had recommended this spot on Jackson in the Old Market, but I had just never gone there. Then yesterday I was invited to share in the 21st birthday celebration of my nephew, and they said they were going to Hiro 88 for their happy hour sushi and drinks. Seven of us ate more sushi than we should have (all... More

Along with Blue, this small chain has the best sushi in Omaha. The sushi and sashimi are truly excellent. But so are the Chinese and other Asian dishes, many carried over from the old Imperial Palace. Everything was good, from the firecracker rolls to the cucumber rolls to the miso soup to our entrees. My Mongolian beef, with the add... More

Went there when the Huskers were playing basketball. Sat at a table in the bar. Service was outstanding, food delicious, drinks were perfect. Waitress and Manager were at our table several times. Will definitely go here again. I live 50 miles away, but this restaurant is my favorite in Omaha.

My husband and I have embarked on an ongoing quest to locate the finest sushi available in the state of NE. If the restaurant is within striking distance, we visit several times prior to posting a review. This review is based on approximately 5 visits, as we wanted to sample various offerings to give a “broad brush stroke” commentary. One... More

Went to Hiro 88 with a big group of friends and the staff were really accommodating. The sushi was excellent even though we ordered way too much and it really started off our night beautifully. When we are next in Omaha we will be coming back.

Was surprised by how good the food was. I figured that a sushi place would probably not have anything good besides sushi, but I was wrong. My wife likes sushi, but I prefer something, anything else. So I ordered the Mongolian Beef and took the cilantro and jalapeno for +$2 option. Turned out to be a great choice, it was... More
