You pay top dollar for steak at this restaurant. It's good, don't get my wrong. But I ate at a competing steakhouse the following night and, well, the competition is better. Our waiter at 801 Chophouse was excellent and offered a handful of

Is this place getting by on its reputation? This evening did not compete with much better steak dinners I've had throughout Omaha. The steak was very steak-tasty but $42 - you gotta be kidding. The salad was just OK, potatoes a little extra creamy, with a normal cheesecake for dessert. The asparagus was very good, but not enough to bring... More

Expensive, unfriendly waiting staff, and average food made the meal a disappointment. The steak was good but the asparagus and lobster mash was average at best. Overall this place is way overpriced and disappoints - at $73 they need to up there game.

Great place with wonderful meat on the menu. Can highly recommend it. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted wonderful, good dessert. Have been there once before and will be happy to come back again.

My husband and I thought that the ambience was upscale and pleasant. The drinks we ordered were a perfect blend of flavors and plenty alcohol. Our steaks and appetizers were cooked to perfection. The service was what you would expect at an upscale restaurant and we were very pleased with our overall visit.

Great place to have a relaxing and enjoyable night out with a special someone, especially if you want to make a good impression on them. The place has a great atmosphere. The Server, Tyler knew everything there is to know about their regular menu, their specials, and there secret/rare items. I the 801 cut Prime Rib. Went thinking it would be similar to the fabulous 801 in Des Moines. Not. Ambience us classy, menu looks good. Food was mediocre and service was poor. Bone in steak tasted watery, strange I know I've never had that experience before. side of cauliflower with apricots and hazelnuts was fantastic as was the bread. Chocolate Soufflé sounded so good but... More

Well stocked bar with a variety of traditional cocktails and the 801 versions of many. All the beef looked amazing, my 16 oz ribeye was perfect. I added a slice of Foie gras which was a nice touch. Prior, I had the 801 chop salad with pork belly and a poached egg, which I split with my friend. Again, it... More

Travelling alone, I began my meal at the bar with a Signature Manhattan. The friendly bartender prepared it quickly with top shelf ingredients. The beef filet was cooked perfectly to order - medium rare. I would definitely suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area for the ambience, the food, and the attentive waitstaff. Go to this steakhouse - you... More
