Get there at off meal times and find a place to park. The parking lot only holds 8 cars and everyone tows around the place. But the good is perfect. The ricotta very berry pancakes are like a piece of heaven with butter and hot syrup. This ain't breakfast, this is like an Italian dessert. The sausage sandwich with peppers... More

Whenever we travel, we like to eat someplace on the beloved Triple D or Man v. Food shows and this was the winning restaurant this trip. We went here for breakfast due to our hotel's breakfast being less than appetizing...and we are so glad we did! My sister and I both ordered the Ricotta Pancakes with Triple Berries...these are seriously... More

Was through on business and stopped for breakfast at what is typically a decent stop at any BW restaurant. Avoid this like the plague. It was awful. If one dot could be halved for a rating this was one.

Great service! Amazing food! They are only open for breakfast. I recommend Larry's Volcano. Biscuits, potatoes, sausage, cheese, eggs, covered in gravy. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Very friendly and caring staff for our rather large group. The food is terrific and we plan to come back again to try other items!

Very friendly & welcoming staff... :) Great range of food on the menu. Quite heavy meals, lots of meat. Wonderful pancakes, which have berries & ricotta mixed through the mixture.

I can't comment on lunch or dinner, but I can tell you that Amato's has a fantastic breakfast. Every time we come to Omaha we must eat here. Where else can a person get homemade Italian sausage and peppers in an omelette? Or triple berry ricotta-stuffed pancakes? Those are my top two picks. The biscuits and gravy are also really... More

While the ambiance is lacking, the breakfast at Amato's is great! The homemade Italian sausage in an omelet with sweet peppers is a treat! The homemade ricotta cheese pancakes with berries are to die for!! Just great food!

While I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews, I feel that the health inspector has not been in this place in 20 years. When you walk in the front door you are immediately hit with the smell of mold and mildew. Your suspicions are confirmed when you look at the ceiling and the window corners, the mold... More

We've dined at Amato's before, but just for breakfast (ricotta & blueberry pancakes= yum). We only seemed to be passing through Omaha during the morning. This was our very first DDD venue we ever visited, 4 years ago, and we've always wanted to come back for lunch or dinner. This trip was for lunch (no dinner hours?!?). I loved the... More
