wonderful neighborhood eatery

We had a party of 9 and Mark's was kind enough to give us a back room so that it was quiet and we could talk with each other. we only get together about twice a year when we are in town, so we really like to talk with each other and be able to hear each other! This fit... read more

For some reason, my family and I forget about Mark's a lot (perhaps because it's right next door to Dario's?), but it is a fantastic restaurant and such great value! I've eaten outside a number of times in the warmer weather and there is a lovely atmosphere on the back terrace. Inside is just as fun if not a tad... More

Best service in the city. Best food. Love their seasonal menus. Excellent wine selections and knowledgable staff. Been here for lunches, happy hour, dinner and drinks. I am a huge fan and always recommend this place to friends and family.

Arrived to Mark's on a recommendation by a client. Ate a great dinner outside with a colleague on a brisk Tuesday night. We opted to sit outside due to the inviting atmosphere the outside garden/patio promoted. We started with the large cheese plate as an appetizer, be advised the large's serving portion was relatively small. As an entree the Lobster... More

If a restaurant has great food, great service & great atmosphere...THAT is the trifecta. Mark's mac n cheese & smoked chicken lasagna is so amazing, if they only served those two dishes, they would have no problems staying in business. The half a dozen times I've eaten at Mark's, the staff has always been worthy of a 25% tip. Atmosphere... More

I've been a couple times, the last time with a group of Moms for a night out. We were given one of their private rooms upstairs which was so cute and fun for us to not worry about how loud we were! :) Everyone loved their meals, the service was great, we never felt rushed, just a great experience all... Had 10 people to celebrate a co-worker's retirement. The private room was very nice with excellent, personal service. Appetizers were great with an assortment of choices. Wine choice was suburb and the main meal was outstanding. Never felt rushed even though we stayed past their closing time. A wonderful time had by all.

9 members of our Tastemasters group met at Mark's for our Januray 2015 meeting. We ate in the personal rooms upstairs. Appetizers were superb and of decent size. The wine was very good. Entrees were really good, especially the Winter Chicken Piccata. My Mac and Cheese Duck Comfit was just OK and not up to the reviews in the Omaha... More

The Dundee neighborhood is a delight, and all the more delightful for the presence of this wonderful restaurant. As 3 couples dining together, we were able to sample a wide variety of the menu offerings. Excellent wine choices that complemented both the appetizers and our dinners. For main dishes, particularly noteworthy were the scallops and the "quack and cheese" (macaroni... More
