Good lunch

Parking is not easy because of location unless you get lucky and someone is backing out as you approach. We were there for lunch and they had a large wine selection we were not able to take advantage of. Their specialty is mac & cheese and it was very good as was the chicken lasagna. It is a very... read more

Starts with friendly and very helpful wait staff. For appetizer we had the charcuterie platter. It was good but very skimpy with quantity. Our $13 platter had 4 very thin slices of salami and a small piece of cheese. Yes the was also some whole grain mustard and three small olives. But over priced for what was served. The four... More

We went to Mark's on a weekday. Our served didn't know the specials or what kind of beer was on tap (not many--Mark's is for wine snobs). I had their "signature" mac and cheese which had been in the oven too long after cooking--it arrived luke warm and had a crusty top and very little flavor. No complaints from the... More

Four of us had reservations for Friday dinner. Street parking in front of the restaurant was not available, so we parked about a block away. We came in the back door off the alley. Note: There are a few parking spaces in the alley behind the restaurant, including a handicapped space. We were seated quickly, but waited for some time... More

We were in town for a concert and decided to try Marks after reading a review online that raved about their mac and cheese. Arrived at 6pm on Saturday and were seated immediately. Atmosphere is great. Fancy enough to impress but not stuffy or pretentious. Families, date night couples, and old friends fill the two dining areas and cereal bar.... More

Amazing atmosphere, dinner with friends outside in the garden. We started the beautiful evening with a glass of red wine and a delicious spinach and artichoke dip. The roasted salmon and chiken breast were outstanding. I personally try the mac and cheese, but it wasn't the favorite that night. I think is a perfect place to go with friends, family... More

My first visit, but certainly not the last! The heart of Omaha, Dundee, has grown up! It comes complete with several great new restaurants as well as som old standbys that keep getting better. Well worth your time to visit the many fine establishments. But back to Marks! This restaurant is located on the upper level, overlooking the busy street... More

Had a truly memorable meal of flat iron steak served on a bed of roasted brussel sprouts with a side of mashed-roast garlic tater tots. The service was ok, not stellar. I sat with empty glass pretty often, but never felt totally neglected. Prices were fair and wine was good.

Been there many times. New menu shows a change & increase of offerings. My wife & I split a small plate which included tandoori oven bread pieces, spreadable selections of blended cheese, sun dried tomatoes, & tapenade. We also ordered French onion soup. All delicious. We will be returning to sample many of the new entries. Additionally, we have always... More

Everything we ordered was out of this world good. We usually can cook much higher quality and better tasting food at home. Mark's was an exception- true cuisine. Truly prepared and cooked right there in the kitchen from natural non processed raw ingredients. This is a rarity in todays chain, high fat, high sodium, reheat and sling supposedly good restaurants.... More
