Description: This very fine rural, mountain restaurant is open to the public, and not just guests of the lodge. Everything that we had was very good.

We visited this restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The menu has a good variety of choices. So for every taste you will find something. The food was good and there was plenty of it served. The restaurant has a nice ambience. Casual family dining.

This is the only restaurant in Mineral. As a matter of fact, along with the joined and co-owned motel, general store, bar and seasonal gift shop they are the only commercial establishments in Mineral. The Restaurant (at least in early September) is only open a couple of hours for breakfast, a couple of hours for lunch and then from 5:00... More

Good food, reasonably priced, old fashioned saloon atmosphere. Casual, friendly people. Adjacent to the motel and closest to the southern boundary of Lassen NP. No gas stations in town!

The menu has good choices and they feature local wines. Dinner can be spendy, but doesn't have to be. Also, the service is slow, but it goes with the experience. I had a grilled chicken salad which was basic, but good 10.99 and he had a massive bacon cheese burger with a baked potato 10.49. We both drink water so... More

We stayed here because of it's closeness to Lassen Volcanic National Park and it was 100% the best choice we could have made! The location was perfect, only a 10 minute drove to the NP.The room we stayed in was spacious, the shower was phenomenal! Powerful and hot, appreciated after a long, sweaty day trekking through a national park! We... More

We ate here two nights in a row because there were no other options within 25 miles. When we stayed safe (steak, burgers), food was fine; when we didn't, it was not (ribs were undoubtedly the worst I ever had, badly overcooked with a lousy bbque sauce). Baked bean side was out of a can - tasted like Heinz the... More

We had breakfast here and it was very good. The staff was very pleasant and helped us plan the day and also packed a very nice to-go veggie burgers on special request. We tried cappuccino and it was pretty good. So was the veggie burger...

After a long day at Lassen Volcanic National Park, we didn't want to drive far for dinner. Ended up at Lassen Mineral Lodge late - around 7:00 pm. They had a bit of a late dinner rush with the dining room having several full tables and people seated outside on the patio. Our server was friendly and the food was... More

This restaurant was great, definitely worth the stop to eat outside of Lassen. The menu was big and the food was fresh. We sat in the outdoor seating area that was comfortable and spacious.

Wonderful old fashioned dining room. Friendly and relaxed staff, family run. Good food. Recommend the texts toothpicks, fried and breaded peppers and onions. Very good value. Ate her both dinner and breakfast. Good freshly prepared food. Biscuits and gravy best we have had.
