No spectacular location, no special equipment, just very nice. The service is attentive, the food is great (very good value for money) and we have felt all around comfortable. Refreshing was the uncomplicated and cheerful Celine, who can do five things at once and ensured that we had fine olives on the table as an appetizer in no time.

A great dinner sitting outside. Very attentive service, gazpacho soup was excellent, mains very good, sponge rum pudding different and excellent, good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Went to the Beau Rivage at noon and were promptly seated at a wonerful table with a beautiful view. We were handed a menu that starts at 50 euros and up and we promptly left, too expensive for lunch and considering no one was here. So we went to Le Sud. Completely different atmosphere, or no atmosphere from the outside... More

We were in Condrieu in January, and as far as we could tell, it was the only restaurant in town...at least when we were there. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was quite nice inside, the reception was nice, and the food was quite good. We had a very nice Sunday lunch there with what looked... More

The restaurant offers menus from locally sourced ingredients at a range of prices (11 to 40 euros) and an extensive a la carte list. The food is served in a well-appointed dining room with an efficiency of service and attentivity worthy of grander establishments. The restaurant is owned by Celine, a sommeliere by training, who runs the dining room and... More

We arrived on recommendation from our Hotel in Ampuis (Le Domaine des Vignes - also highly recommended) for an evening meal on a disagreeably wet August evening, and were absoultely thrilled with the food and wine. We were served with a minimum of fuss, and ate grandly (I had escargot followed rognons and loved it - 14 yr old had... More

The restaurant is situated on a pleasant square with adequate parking . The dining room is simple but comfortable. We had lunch here on Mother's Day. The restaurant was deservedly busy, with many of the diners obviously well known to the staff. There was a special set menu for this day. The food was well cooked and presented and the... More

Arriving at Hostellerie Beau Rivage rather late & finding its restaurant fully booked I asked the receptionist if she could recommend somewhere "with good basic food, within walking distance where we could sit outside". She immediately suggested On Dit le Sud & phoned to reserve a table. It's a 10 minute stroll alongside a small stream & we found the... More
