Charming restaurant with great food

Near the church in Mallemort. Parkin the car park nearby or better still, in the townandwalk up. Friendly & efficient service & waiter is fluent in English. The shrimp with orange starter is really good but would recommend the assorted starter which is excellent. The speciality is beef so would... read more

A very nice restaurant with a lot of tables that one would not expect in such small town. The meat we ordered was very good but unfortunately the table host was not that friendly. I think it was because we did not order a lot. He was correct but did not pay much attention to our table (forgot the water).... More

It was recommended by our host and she was right. We had their specialty with the bone mallow on the side and was very pleased. Very helpful with my glutenfree needs and service was excellent. A little far for us to go from DC but anyone in the area should. Bon Appetite.

Delightful eating areas and charming staff, but the cuisine was odd. My beurre blanc, accompanying my sea bass, appeared to be merely melted butter. The dish contained a lemon polenta, what looked and tasted like mushy peas and which was undoubtedly supposed to be pea purée and a carrot on a cocktail stick. The sea bass was over-cooked and certainly... More

6 of us visited this restaurant each having starters and mains and all of were very happy with what we received I had smoked salmon and carpaccio of scallops as a starter which was superb and the main I had was veal and steak which was also very good. Only negative is the restaurant itself which I felt was lacking... More

This restaurant is a little gem tucked away in Mallemort (Mallemort itself does not have a lot going on). My husband and I had dinner with our 7 month old baby. The staff were very friendly and professional. Our waiter spoke very good English. Highchairs available if required. The restaurant itself has a really lovely ambience - we sat on... More

Nice cuts, hung to perfection and cooked right next to your table on an open fire. Brilliant service, very welcoming.

Our final evening in Provence took us to this excellent restaurant, on the recommendation of a friend who lives in nearby Port Royal. If you have a picture in your mind of a traditional French village restaurant this is it. The welcome is friendly, courteous and charming. The featured dish is a Cote du Beuf, served to for two diners.... More

The reputation of this restaurant is well deserved. Interesting food that is very well prepared and beautifully served with an emphasis on local ingredients. Service was very friendly and efficient and prices were very reasonable for food of this quality. It is located right in the heart of the village but there is a car park nearby. Highly recommended.

We went there (4 adults and one baby) for Sunday lunch. This is a cracking restaurant, absolutely fantastic food with great service. The steak was exceptional, well worth a visit.
