Most enjoyable dining experience. Superb Charolais beef and steaks, beautifully cooked and presented. Good seafood also available. Can certainly recommend the sea bass. Waiting staff cannot be faulted......friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Restaurant ambience is first rate. All of this in a restaurant with a great ambience. Add to this reasonable pricing and nothing else compares in the area.

We came here for a light dinner with local friends, and only took a main dish each on the upstairs terrace. What a nice setting, what a nice restaurant, well trained staff, and such good food. Our wives took the Noix St Jacques, absolutely fine and delicious "ca fondait dans la bouche". Myself I had the grilled slices of steak,... More

We went here as a family group and the food, service and overall experience was very good. The taster plates are a useful way to try a selection of the starters. Main course highlights included the steak marinated in Guadeloupe spices and my excellent veal chop. Portions were very generous and the waiter (who spoke fluent English having worked at... More

We went here with family. Four of the six of us that attended had steak. It was OK. My wife had a crayfish starter and fish for her main, she said it was one of the best meals she had ever had. We ate on the terrace upstairs which is a beautiful setting. The service was good, accept we did... More

A very nice restaurant with a lot of tables that one would not expect in such small town. The meat we ordered was very good but unfortunately the table host was not that friendly. I think it was because we did not order a lot. He was correct but did not pay much attention to our table (forgot the water).... More

Near the church in Mallemort. Parkin the car park nearby or better still, in the townandwalk up. Friendly & efficient service & waiter is fluent in English. The shrimp with orange starter is really good but would recommend the assorted starter which is excellent. The speciality is beef so would recommend that. It's really good & the owner takes great... It was recommended by our host and she was right. We had their specialty with the bone mallow on the side and was very pleased. Very helpful with my glutenfree needs and service was excellent. A little far for us to go from DC but anyone in the area should. Bon Appetite.

Delightful eating areas and charming staff, but the cuisine was odd. My beurre blanc, accompanying my sea bass, appeared to be merely melted butter. The dish contained a lemon polenta, what looked and tasted like mushy peas and which was undoubtedly supposed to be pea purée and a carrot on a cocktail stick. The sea bass was over-cooked and certainly... More

6 of us visited this restaurant each having starters and mains and all of were very happy with what we received I had smoked salmon and carpaccio of scallops as a starter which was superb and the main I had was veal and steak which was also very good. Only negative is the restaurant itself which I felt was lacking... More
