We had anchovies, shrimp, land and sea salads. All were fresh and plenty to eat. Service was great. No complaints at all. Weather was superb, sitting by the river watching fish and people going by. Waite staff was very helpful

Quite expensive, but food was tasty but fairly ordinary. Atmosphere friendly, and you were not rushed.

right by the river, under a marquee with one of those misting systems to keep you cool, l'ecailler is a lovely, civilised and low-key place to enjoy a fish lunch. service was friendly, the wine selection was good, the fish / seafood excellent. a great place to watch the world go by. Sure there are many restaurants in this town,... More

We had dinner here... I had the " brochette de poisson " i.e seafood kebabs..... salmon pieces were very dry. Not worth the 17 euros! My wife had the " mussels roquefort"... very nice and 13.50 euros. We noticed that almost every diner, ( mostly french speaking) ordered mussel dishes, so this is obviously what they are known for!

Finally got some moules et frites á la Roquefort no less!! Wonderful spot on the river near la gare antiques, L'Isle de la Sorgue. WOW, this town is where I'm coming to shop when I have a home in Provence!

A great place to have lunch after shopping at the market. Their moules frites are some of the best we've had. It does get busy so reserving a table is recommended.

We had lunch Sunday lunch here a few days ago. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. My wife had sea bream and I had swordfish which were both superb. An upmarket cote de Provence rose , deserts and coffees cost 80euros which we thought was excellent value for quality and setting right on the river. Service was warm but... More

Four of us had lunch here during Sunday Market. A delightful spot, alongside a canal. The Moules Frites were wonderful. We would definately return.

We visited Isle sur la Sorgue on market day, and by lunchtime we wanted a good lunch with an outdoor ambience, and found L'Ecailler seafood restaurant on a central canal. We had a simple lunch- moules frites and a Scandinavian salad. The moules were excellent, the salad full of salmon and herring, prepared and presented very nicely. The place was... More
