We rented an apartment in L'Isle for two weeks in October 2012, and we shopped at this wonderful bakery a dozen times. We loved everything we tried: breads, quiches, pastries. Yummm!!

Every time I in am in the area, I go thre, even if I have to drive an extra 10 miles; it is that good. The pastries and chocolates are great, but the bread is the best ! The "boule" is the one I really like, and it keeps very well. Great people, too. You gotta give it a try;... More

A jewel. I've been living in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue just over 4 years now and I must have cycled past countless times. Never paid it much attention, just another boulangerie and here we have many. So, in May this year just before my sister, brother in law and niece came from overseas to visit me, my sister sent me a few TripAdvisor... More

This is a fabulous bakery! Everything is so good. I love their different types of baguettes especially their walnut baguette. I have ordered many specialty cakes and I have never been disappointed. Give it a try. You won't be sorry. Yum, yum.

This bakery was around the corner from the apartment we stayed in. Their pastries were wonderful. We loved the cupcakes and croissants. The quiches made a delicious inexpensive lunch. The people are friendly and for those of you who aren't comfortable with your French, the owner speaks English. Don't miss it!

The Leyris bakery, down the Rue Carnot is well known in Isle for their delicious pastries, breads, and small artisan quiches or pizzas. All of their products are artisinal and of very high quality. We are especially partial to the cupcakes--which are in many different flavours, moist and luscious cake with heavenly icing on top...but...a word of warning...they are addictive!

Don't miss the opportunity to go down Rue Carnot to the artisan bake, Leyris. The breads are varied and delicious, the walnut loaf being our favourite. The quiche de jour, cakes and chocolates are divine. We are only glad we have a long walk to this baker so that we can sample ALL their wares without guilt. There is always... More

One minute walk from the square up Rue Carnot from our apartment (Le Soleil) to the pastries and breads that greeted us. Each morning we'd buy pain de chocolat, other delicate pasteries and petite quiche and walk two minutes to Cafe de France for a sidewalk table, espresso. There, under the plain trees we'd have our Leyris breakfast. It's a special... More

The Leyris is now our local having bought a little holiday apartment around the corner and so we are now daily patrons even though that means we have to walk a lot at other times. The bread is lovely and I'm quite partial to a pain aux raisins but if your accommodation has an oven, our recommendation is the selection... More

I just love this little pastry shop. I followed my nose and stumbled upon the most delicious treats around. I loved it so much I stopped by every day for fresh croissants and bread. The service was excellent. I do believe I tried everything they had to offer and was never disappointed. I loved visiting France and will come back... More
