Visit for a petite verre

It has been fun to watch le 17 evolve over the last few years. If you are staying in or near L'Isle - or just passing through on market day - pay a visit. The owners have remodeled and upped the food game - though it is still not a dinner place, which is fine. Everyone on staff is friendly... read more

We arrived late Saturday evening in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and needed a place for dinner. Luckily we stumbled upon 17 Place aux Vins. The wine selection was top notch and their appetizers--cheese and other small plates were outstanding. Believe it or not, this was one of the best meals we ate in France. Our server was very helpful when we made our... More

I have a bias for people who love their profession and are passionate about it. I they happen to love wine, I'm sold. This is THE place to sample local French wine. The offering by the glass is impressive - 16 reds, 18 whites, 5 roses and 4 champagnes. 20 of those are less than 5 euros for 12 cl.... More

What a fabulous surprise to find this spot. Wonderful wine selection and great small plate options, just what we were looking for. We were treated like visiting royalty, getting the best recommendations, right down to a wonderfully decadent housemade dessert with chocolate, kumquats, ginger, and nuts. A fun, trendy wine bar definitely worth the visit.

Excellent wines and sample trays. What a delight and a surprise. The house red was surprisingly good (very highly rated). We would come back often

A chilled out lunch with just two of us. We shared a large mixed sharing platter of various cheeses and meat and we loved every bit of it! Our waiter recommended us a very nice white wine which was very suited to what we were eating. Came back with more people another day for an evening meal. It's a place... More

This is not a restaurant but a wine bar that sells great foody nibbles to pick at with your drinks. My tips to get the most from your visit. Go on a warm dry evening. Arrive early say 7pm. Sit outside. The fun then starts. You can choose from a big list of wines by the glass at great prices... More

A simple menu, platters of multiple varieties of cheese, cheese and sausages, or just sausages, with bread and fig jam. Many local wines available by the glass. Knowledgeable waiters. Perfect for those evenings when you don't want a huge meal but something more interesting than a sandwich.

It's not the first time we stop by but it's still quality Time. Probably the "hip" place in town, great people are coming by and the wine helps to talk to strangers. Tonight We shared a mixed plate (cheese and cooked meats) and Château Verrerie Rosé. Awesome ! The staff is excellent and able to give precious advices !

Went here twice as restarant is close to our hotel. Both times we were met by arogant staff. It is not enough to serve good wine and tapas. Will not recomend this place to anybody.
