On our first Sunday in L'ilse sur la Sorgue we walked down to the centre to find the antiques market. Fantastic, with hundreds of stalls, thousands of visitors, music and entertainment. We were lucky to get a table overlooking the river. We both chose the 'plat du jour' - shoulder of lamb on a bed of mashed potatoes with a... More

Stopped in for lunch because of the fish plat du jour. We were pleasantly surprised by excellent service, very good food and value for the money. The location is great. The apple tart was a fabulous finish to an enjoyable experience.

dinner here was really awful. One of us had the Bellevue salad - at 16 euro the most expensive salad - and the other salmon in lemon butter sauce which was meant to come with frites and vegies - no frites but a mound of semi mashed lumpy spud, and was not enjoyed. The salad was big, and that's about... More

We had eaten here before on a previous visit to l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and this time our daughter chose for us to return. The setting right on the river is a lovely spot to enjoy lunch. The service was very good with the waiter suggesting a nice wine to accompany our meal. The salads were large and tasty and my river trout... More

Went for the first time today, Sunday April 27th. The place was packed. We were lucky to find a table. The staff was super friendly, the food good and the setting very nice. I was pleasently surprised to find such good service when they had to serve so many poeple. I had the plat du jour, a exellent goat salad... More

Possibly the best chevre chaud in France. Great attention to details of seasoning and ingredients. And, yes, it is the most scenic location in town. But -- like everything else to do with travel, including price, service and crowding -- it is best to go in winter.

Restaurant is located in very nice street with many restaurants next to a small river. I had a steak with veggies and mushroom sauce , desert a " banana split " . Staff was friendly and food was delivered on time . Steak was ok , banana split was huge !

Because one of our family had his birthday we decided to eat in L'isle sur la Sorgue. Our first choice was Balade des Saveurs but this restaurant didn't want to have any customers. The table was reserved (no sign) and the service didn't start until 19.30. So we decided to walk further and decided to give Le Bellevue a chance... More

Situated alongside the Sorgue and at the far end of a busy town, this is a very busy restaurant during the Summer Period and to guarantee a table it is worth booking early. A decent selection of food and drinks on the menu. We found the service good taking into account how busy the restaurant was. The quality of the... More

This is right on the river, with good views and very busy - we were lucky to get a table at noon. OK meal - nothing very special and service rather rushed - not really a place to linger but the breeze off the river was welcome. There are better places in the town but the location is very good.
