We have been visiting Le Jardin du Quai for over 10 years now and it is always the highlight of our trip to the area .... this place is so special we chose it to host our wedding reception 2 years ago, a real honour! Daniel, Aline and the whole team are incredible and amazing hosts. There is a full... More

Our group had a wonderful dinner in the garden under the summer stars at Le Jardin du Quai. Really, the selling point at this restaurant is the atmosphere and ambience in the outdoor garden, but for us the food was a close second. The menu included two fish dishes (monk fish and ...?) and we were so glad we chose... More

The garden at Le Jardin Du Quai is beautiful but the rude behavior of the staff spoiled the experience. The bad behavior started immediately. The only woman staff member was the worst. We were served wine by the glass from a bottle that had been opened at least the morning before. We only speak a little French but really make an... More

This was our fourth visit, so we are accustomed to the set menu, and brace ourselves a bit. Both the starter and main course were fish; monkfishe wrapped in bacon, on a bed of white beans. The main course was perfectly smoked cod, with roasted carrot, cauliflower, beet and a lovely garlic mayonnaise to rub on everything. Dessert was baba... More

The setting is indeed magical, as the garden is simply lovely. If only the quality of the meal lived up to the surroundings. We were very taken aback that there was absolutely no choice and found the food rather bland. It was also very expensive, even by Luberon standards. Service was charmless.

The food in this restaurant remains excellent (6 personal visits over two years) but the service leaves much to be desired. I do not expect to be served by blue jean wearing waiters and waitresses in a high priced restaurant and i do expect a high quality service not the dropping off of plates such as expected in a 8... found the restaurant more or less by accident or passing through the nearby antique shops. the waitress told us that there was only one menue which was a bit much for lunch but tried anyway. the food was truly excellent, the tuna appetizer as well as the lamb but the baba-au-rhum definelty too much for lunch - but no choice... This restaurant has a magical setting, cool under spreading trees & garden but what a shame the wait staff act as though they are doing you a favour by serving you and the food does nothing to redeem that opinion. If as the chef says he buys his ingredients daily at the market, he must be buying the same stuff... More

We visit here as often as we can. It is one of our favourite experience's in Provence. With the music of the cicadas in the background and the clinking of rose glasses - can't imagine a better heaven.

This was a really outstanding meal. There is a fixed menu which changes daily. It was relief not to deliberate on the menu for a change. The tuna entree was creatively brilliant and delicious, the next course of mushrooms with poached egg was very good and the beef with vegetables main course was the best beef dish I have had... More
