We were a group of 4 that went to Bella Vita. They offer homemade traditional Passta and we were blown away by the good food. In total we paid 15 euro per person for pasta, wine and a dessert that we split two by two. Thumbs up for Bella Vita. They dont speak fluently english, but they manage.

We stayed 11 days in L'isle sur la Sorgue and ate at this restaurant at least six times. Their 'nids' pasta was fantastic. Inexpensive, very filling and delicious. The young man who waited on us spoke excellent English, and although we speak broken French it was great to have a little help regarding the pasta. Try the vegetarian nids which... More

There are not too many two spot reviews in the MosLyn tripography and that's because we are pretty adept at spotting the signs and coupling that with a bit of internet research to avoid those places best avoided. This is not an infallible system as the Bella Vita proved. Service was adequate but Monsieur looks like he has been sampling... More

Very small place, so better be early if you want a table. We had home-made pasta with an absolutely delicious spaghetti Carbonara. The pasta was al-dente and the sauce very good, enjoyed it very much. My son had tirmisuto which he said was absolutel fantastic. Nice mal and a good local wine. Service really good as well

The Bella Vita is a womb in which people are fed from a kitchen where an Italian Mama sends the most amazing food out the long narrow passage between tables where total strangers actually speak to each other (a rarity in France). It is a railway carriage setting with a menu that caters for vegetarians without even trying, but that... More

To be honest, we only ate here as it was the first place we found that could accomodate us when we returned from a hard day sightseeing in Marseille - all the places that had been recommended to us between the railway station and Place de la Liberte were either fully booked or closed. That was perhaps our good fortune.... More

We were there for lunch on Sunday. It's definitely a family run restaurant. We were served by three little children, all under 10, nervously delivering food to our table guided by their grandfather.

Bella Vita is a tiny restaurant with seating for about a dozen people downstairs. There's an upper floor as well which we didn't see. It was great to find a place that was open early in the evening The restaurant is well known for homemade pasta dishes. We chose a dinner combo for 17 euros which included choice of salad,... More

It saddens me to write this review because we had such a wonderful experience on our previous visit. We were so looking forward to going back here! Sadly, this restaurant has gone from best to worst. The previous owner sold the restaurant in April 2011 and the new owner is simply horrible. To say he was rude wouldn't even cover... More

Some locals told us about this place where the pasta was handmade daily by the owner. It's a teeny tiny place that you can miss and walk by in 2 steps. We sat outside at one of just a couple of tables and ate. We speak no French & I remember the owner coming out to help us. The waiter/waitress... More
