Laid Back and Friendly!

Love this restaurant! The variety is excellent and it reminds me of a place I used to frequent in the 80's in New York's West Village. They have all kinds of smoothies, soups, salads and sandwiches as well as baked goods some of which are gluten-free/vegan. The staff members are welcoming... read more

This local spot was a great find with healthy options for vegans and everyone else. The curried lentil soup was amazing. I also had beet, apple, and ginger juice. The menu was very good and they also have homemade gluten free breads. For lunch it was packed. They offer counter service with plenty of tables.

Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or an omnivore, you can certainly find something for lunch to eat and savor in this place. Their sandwiches are healthy with a touch of exotic. They also make great smoothies. And if you want a hot drink, you can also get an espresso or a latte. Parking in front off of Northern Lights can be... More

Met a business contractor here for lunch. Placed our orders at the counter with two semi-bored young women. Had a sandwich that was completely forgettable; not horrible, just average. Noise level was excrutiating and made talking business impossible. Could feel my stress level rising with every repeated shouted sentence between us. Bathroom was beyond gross and had one square of... More

The food was extremely fresh and presented wonderfully. Lots of veggie choices too. Service was quick and efficient. price was very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Would highly recommend.

Middle Way Cafe is my favorite stop in Anchorage when I want a fantastic cup of coffee made by a barista who clearly enjoys making a great cup of coffee. And, because the cafe is almost always packed with a lively crowd, I use the time waiting for my coffee to peruse the latest gallery of works by local artists... More

It's really, really busy on Sat morning and some folks linger in spite of others obviously waiting for a table. But the coffee was very good, as were all 4 breakfast meals. I would definitely return.

I love the coffee, it's K-Bay Caffe the best organic coffee roasted in Alaska. Perfect. Great baked goods although they are gluten free and pretty groovy... The food tries too hard and ends up bland gloppy and tasteless sometimes, but I'm sure it's really good for you! I still love to stop by for coffee and carrot cake. Great ambience... More

Wasn't expecting much for it's location in a strip mall, but this place seems great. First time here, only ordered two things, but they were both really good. Ordered a veggie wrap, Lebanese style (the wrap was lettuce), and a smoothie. Fantastic! The vibe inside was good, and the counter service very friendly.

After my heart surgery, my fiancé,my son&I visit there for early evening dinner, I went to the bathroom before we sat down. It was disgusting. they were busy, but no excuse not to clean the bathroom. I went to talk to the manager on duty, one of girls who were chatting&giggling by the counter came forward&said " I can be... More
