I've been to Taco King several times, and can't bring myself to order anything else. After one delicious Adobado Burrito, they had me hooked! My husband has ordered a few types of burritos and the Special Tacos, and hasn't offered a single complaint. This is a quick take-out or sit down restaurant. FYI: If you want chips and salsa, you... Food is great, service extremely fast. If we have an urge for tacos, there is no other choice in Anchorage!

You would be better going to your local grocery store and buy a Frozen Mexican dinner. Me and the wife ordered food and i did not notice untill after but they microwaved my dinner and it tasted just like my discription. First and last trip for me you've been warned.

I would recommend any Mexican fast food chain over Taco King: Chipotle, Qdoba, etc. The chicken was overcooked and the rice was greasy. Having lived in the southwest for many years, I'm accustomed to great inexpensive Mexican food--Taco King is neither. In fact, this was the worst meal I had on the entire trip. For a reasonably priced high-quality lunch,... More

I love menudo and Taco King on Spenard Road is perhaps the best in Anchorage for this uniquely Mexican delicacy. I stopped by for lunch while in town in February 2014 attending a class. There were not a lot of people in the establishment and I order the menudo with flour tortillas ($7.95). The meal was delivered about ten minutes... More

Taco King is a fantastic place to eat authentic mexican food. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is fresh and delicious. I love the mexican tacos with corn tortillas and the salsa bar is great. The workers truly make for a pleasant dining experience, and generally speak English very well. Although, I must say that it is... More

Outside of Krystals or White Castle burgers, I despise any type of fast food, period. They say you can get consistant taste from one region to another from prepackaged materials, but what you end up with is chemically altered remnants of food and that disturbs me to no end. However, Taco King is a different story. You go into their... More

Delicious food and great service! The prices were reasonable and the place was clean. The staff are quick and the food still tastes the same from the first time we tried it! Very good. Will miss this when we leave Anchorage next month.

Great fresh fast food - love the hard shell tacos & refried beans. The salsa bar is a nice touch. Very friendly man made and served our lunch at location on Northern Lights Blvd.
