Good authentic Mexican Food

I was kind of shocked to be on business in Anchorage and finding a very good "authentic" Mexican place to eat. I have the carne asada tacos with beans and rice and it tasted like so many places I go to in Southern Cal.

I make a point of stopping in at Taco King at least once during an anchorage visit. This trip it was twice. I had the halibut tacos the first day and they were so good, I went back the second day for the same thing. Don't pass up the chance to try this place. Great food and not that pricey.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Lots of options. Food was yummy, inexpensive and service was good. Nothing fancy but if you looking for a good lunch and have a time limit this is a great option.

Hola! This place serves authentic and great tasting Mexican food. No frills. Prompt service. Not a real dining experience but it's a great place for a quick and reasonably priced meal. I'm partial to the tortas...but it's all good. Eaten here a lot.

I love their burritos! I go to taco king all the time. I look forward to having their burritos! Their nachos are also really good.

I've eaten here so many times and it's great for a fast meal or a quality group meal pickup. Always consistent, always yummie! Although I'm not Mexican, I suspect this is authentic. Today I picked up Nachos with cheese, iced tea, and a fried ice cream. Portions are large, shareable, and delicious! The staff here is always friendly and efficient.

Do not order delivery! Called in an order was told 45 mins to 1 hour. Called back after 1.5 hours and was told "We got hit hard with deliveries and it will be a few minutes longer" Another half hour went by and I called again. " Sorry it will be another 2-3 mins. Another 20 mins go by and... More

People! Go to Taco King if you want the real deal for Mexican food. Their radio ads about 'Pedro" are somewhat annoying, but the the food is authentic, fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The Menudo soup is good and spicy. The pollo burrito is my go-to, and really, anything on the menu is tasty and satisfying. They have about six... More

Heard a lot of good things about the food so I decided to give it a shot and dine in. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised; my order was taken quickly and brought to my table piping hot, the food was fantastic. Terrific food at a fair price in a clean environment =happy customer. I recommend and I... More

My Family loves Mexican food; we had lunch last Wednesday at Taco King in Anchorage AK and it was great. I had the Chili Verde Combo, my wife had the Enchilada meals and my son had Nachos and everyone was happy with what we had. There was more than enough food for us all and it was great. This is...
