I hadn't been to this restaurant in awhile and it is nice to see some different items on the menu. I found out that there is a new chef on board now. I was impressed with the filet steak. It was cooked just right. The soup of the day, carrot, was excellent. The wine selection is alright. Interesting assortment of... More

Ginger was pretty good food, not great, but good. The chef likes complex dishes and sometimes he/she goes overboard. If the dishes were dialed back a bit, this could be a very good place. But that is one person's opinion. We might have liked it all a bit more if our server was more interested in being a server. He... More

my fiancé and I went to this place before the show start. I had tofu dish and Ginger mojito cocktail. the way the prepare the dish was most beautiful and the texture of seared tofu took me to my childhood and I was very happy. the place is wonderful for a couple and even for business. it is a bit... We ate here when we went for a conference in Anchorage during summer 2012. I was surprised to taste so much gourmet menu at such a reasonable price. Ceviche at its best.

Read the health inspection reports. food was less than satisfactory and prepared in filth. Most of the places in this town are nasty but how and where it's prepared is my main concern. Health Inspection reports can be looked at for any restaurant in town.

During my first, ever, visit to Anchorage last month, I dined at Ginger and was VERY PLEASANTLY surprised! The entire dining experience was pretty FANTASTIC! From my glass of moscato to the strawberry/Caesar salad to the ahi appetizer followed by my tuna entree and even the apple-berry cobbler dessert, I was THOROUGHLY impressed! The service was great, atmosphere inviting and... More

The food was awesome! it is an Asian fusion mix but lots of choices with reasonable prices. I can highly recommence this restaurant and I will be back every time I in Anchorage. Reservations needed. they have fresh local sea food and just great food in general.

I was a little surprised to find this quality Asian themed restaurant in Anchorage. A great change of pace from the brew houses and bars of Anchorage. Not cheap but reasonable value.

I have heard this is a good place to eat and tried it for the first time last week. The evening atmosphere was very relaxed, semi-formal and nice. The food choice were not overly extensive and the food itself was delicious. I had the scallops mac and cheese that evening, it was excellent. The next day our group ended up... More
