We were able to walk the few blocks from our hotel to this excellent Asian fusion restaurant. We had a variety of appetizers, which were all delicious! I really enjoyed the pork tenderloin as my main course. Everyone else in my party loved their main courses also. It was a little noisy and the tables a little small, but the... More

If you are looking for a little variety, Ginger is a great place for some eastern fusion. The soup was a nice appetizer and the vegan curry was great. Desserts were okay but I would skip them next time. Their cocktail menu is extensive. There is something for everyone.

I was happy to find a place in Anchorage with vegan options. The dipping sauce on the spring rolls I ordered might be the best I've ever had. My tofu coconut curry was good, but very rich. The atmosphere was pleasant and our service was good.

Found this place via Trip Advisor. Thank you TA! The debate at our table was whether to give Ginger 4 or 5 stars. In the end, we found Ginger to be a solid four stars. The menu was broad and quite interesting. All the dishes we have were creative and very good. A few were excellent. Our server was friendly... More

First night in anchorage and walked in off the street, staff were very nice and found a table, even though they were quite busy. The serves were quite large. very nice found but not top shelf. I had the salmon special and wife had the scallops mac and cheese. Everything cooked well.

We stopped here for happy hour to try a few apps. They have a nice drink menu but they only have 2 specialty cocktails on the happy hour menu. We the Mongolian beef nachos and the Korean tacos which were good. We would've stayed for dinner but we felt there were more places to try so we moved on. The... More

I hadn't set my sights too high for culinary fare in Alaska. Ginger was a pleasant surprise. This rivals any big city dining. Interesting preparations, delicious flavors, and well trained wait staff. Don't miss it.

Inventive, creative and extremely tasty dishes. It would have been a fine restaurant in New York, but in Anchorage it was a complete revelation.

If you need a break from the junk, Ginger offers a lovely meal, a great ambience, good music (Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, old jazz classics). The food is yummy. Once inside, you feel like you have been transported from a tourist street to a legit restaurant one might find in any large city.

Ginger was by far one of my favorite meals! We shared the Mee Krob and Mac & Cheese! All the appetizers, entrees, and desserts were incredible and I would highly recommend you make a stop at Ginger in Anchorage!
