The building has been knocked down as part of the Seward Highway project, so this venue is no longer open. If looking for eateries in the immediate area, there is Turn Again Arm Pit Bar B Que, Yamato Ya, Moose's Tooth, Kinley's, Sushi Sushi, Table 6, Ling & Louie's, Johnny Chicago, McDonalds, and the Pita Pit.

I loved that this place is managed by a real Italian family who cook very decent food and give above average portions. After all, Italian food is always better the next day. This restaurant is somewhat hard to find but well worth the hunt. The goodness is there.

Although Nino's is a small restaurant with limited parking and seats, the food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. The fried calamari was on spot and perfect. We have traveled Europe and none of their calamari compares to Nino's.

Good basic Italian food, but the location is run down. Great service and fantastic bread knots! Good reliable food here.

Nino's is my favorite dining spot in Anchorage. I've learned that the owner is from Long Island, NY. A native Italian New Yorker myself, I can tell you that Nino's offers excellent italian pizzeria style dining that is served family style. This means portions are big and can easily be shared. Your dinner starts out with a 6 piece serving... More

This is a great place to eat. Very small and quaint sitting but the service was excellent and the food very traditional Italian.

We ate at Nino's once and wish we had had time to do so again during our trip. It was the best Italian ever. The best eggplant parmesan, thin crispy layers of eggplant and the most delicious sauce and cheese. Husband had the tenderest chicken parmesan, same lovely sauce and cheese. AND, the meal started with a basket of wonderful... More

Nino's has great garlic knots. Each table receives a free basket of 6; the bad part is this is regardless of the number at your table-2 or 6 get one basket. I suggest ordering extra. One thing not on the menu is spaghetti with tomato sauce. This is preferable to spaghetti with marinara and only costs $10 for a huge... More
