Best alehouse for 1000 miles

If you don't want to be limited by each brewer's own menu, Humpys is the place. If you can't find a beer you like here, you're not trying. Food is typical good bar food - burgers, etc. Not upscale but no fear and enough choices for a small group. If your ale dictates your choice of places to... read more

We Just arrived into Anchorage thirsty & hungry stumbled into Humpy's, not sure what to expect but what a pleasant surprise, fantastic selection of great fresh food, some great beer and great atmosphere. We liked this place so much we were back the next night to try more of the delicious food and the ever morish beer. Their salmon burgers... More

First time visiting everybody says go to Humpys. So I went. I had the seafood chowder which had salmon and scallops. I got a bowel and it had to be about 20 ounces of soup. It was medium warm but great. Had the seafood pasta and that was excellent.

I'd been advised to eat here by several fellow travellers, and so I made my way there, easily locatable by the signage. I make some nachos at home and so I decided to try theirs. What a shock, it was huge. Lots of cheese and chicken and jalapenos, covering three colours of corn chips. I'd never seen black ones before... More

Very cool place and amazing food. I came here while visiting my family, I was told I needed to stop here. Great food and very good service. I'd suggest stopping by for a brew and fish!

I was here a couple years ago over the summer solstice. We were not as savvy of travelers than and stumbled on Humpy's while walking around town. We loved it so much we ended up eating there 3 times over our week long trip. One night while waiting for a table an older couple invited us to sit at their... More

Humpy's cheeseburgers are the biggest and best in town. Great menu selection and great drink selection. Walked right in, chose my own table at a great location. Service was prompt and outstanding. Prices are reasonable and you get a great value for the price. One of the must stops, if you are passing through.

My goodness, I walked into Humpy's a bit hungover from my Anchorage vacation, and was not disappointed. Start off by sharing the breakfast pizza with your entire party, and get the hangover skillet or any of the fine breakfast menu items for a filling breakfast. You really cannot go wrong here. The portions are large, so I shared with my... More
