Delicious food, beautiful views...if money is no object

We were seated at a corner table with views of both the mountains and water. I started out with king crab leg bisque. There were several chunks of crab in the creamy (but light) base. At the waiter's suggestion, I ordered the black cod (a flavor that is a cross between salmon and halibut). Very... read more

My wife and I ate here. We had a reservation and got a window seat. Our waiter and wait staff were excellent. The food is what you'd expect at a 5 star. It was excellent in every way. Appreciated the casual dress code. I expected to pay more than what our bill was, but it was similar to any of... More

Great ambience, viewing the entire valley surrounding Anchorage. The meal was outstanding with every course perfectly prepared and presented. There was no pressure to vacate the table and the entire experience was enhanced by both the knowledge and service by server Jenny. She is amongst the very best.

A fine dining experience with fabulous views of Anchorage. Check dress code, they are serious - friend and I were almost turned away (or given option to wear shoes provided) due to our sandals. Order the meat/cheese tray!

Excellent food and atmosphere. My family went for a small intimate dinner the night before my sister got married. Our server was delightful and the food was top notch. Will definitely go again.

Great place to eat dinner. Amazing food and great service. They had a great selection of wines. It had a great view of the water and down town. Over all a great place to eat.

Went here for dinner our first night in Anchorage (we were on a roadtrip, and had just driven 9 hours that day). We decided we wanted a treat after the long drive. We chose this restaurant, mainly because it was open late, but we were glad we did! Everything was delicious. We had the chef's risotto for starters, found it... More

This is a very nice place on a top floor of the Captain Cook. Very excellent drink, beer, and wine menu. Professional staff in both the dining and bar area. This place is more popular with the professional crowd. There is a dress code, so do not come in your jeans or shorts. You should otherwise be good. Prices are... More

While I love the restaurant, I'm not happy with the chef. While very talented, there are NO substitutions, period. When my wife and I went for our anniversary last year I asked for a half order of the Oysters, as she does not like shellfish. The servers response was a question to me from the chef "what am I supposed... More

You cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. I was with a party of six and everyone was beyond pleased with their meals which included king crab, halibut and fresh salmon presented beautifully! Order the Bananas Foster for dessert! You won't be disappointed!
