Go just for the view, but the food is great! All food is prepared as ordered and service is very good. Nice bar for cocktails and sunset viewing (when clear!). I try to include this place whenever I get up to Anchorage. NOTE: Only open for dinner last time I visited

My wife and I spent a lovely evening with a romantic touch in this charming restaurant with awesome views. The staff was very friendly and professional. There is a big selection of wines from all over the world available. The food was excellent (we hardly ever tasted a better risotto!). We were surprised to find such a fantastic restaurant in... Worst dinner we ever had. Both of our fish dishes tested like defrosted fish cooked in a microwave oven with test-less sauces which felt like mushed soap. Do not go to this restaurant.

Stopped in for dinner and couldn't have been more pleased. On the pricey side however I guess given the location and quality of food it was worth it. I had the Elk with none marrow and my wife had the scallops. Both were delicious as were the Caesar salad and Alaska oysters. I'd go again if I was in town.... More

Bright Side: We had a party of 6 in the Lounge last night and even though the food and drinks were wonderful, our waitress Katie made the night even better, A couple things we ordered were the artisan cheese plate and the charcuterie, and she was extremely knowledgeable on everything on the plates, she didn't stutter once and said it... I'd visited the Crow's Nest a few months back with friends and, while impressed with the beautiful room, we were completely unimpressed with the service. Our server was a pretentious wannabe who provided some of the worst service I've ever experienced. But, upon returning to Anchorage this trip with my wife, thought I'd take a chance and show my wife... More

The restaurant is one of the best in town and is amazing for a special dinner, but if you have limited time, money, or no reservation, try the bar. The full menu is available, but the bar bites are great too, especially the Crow Burger. Top flight martinis, manhattans and lemon drops, and experienced, professional service.
