Outstanding as usual

The Charcuterie appetizer is awesome, especially with a nice Cab. The unctuousness of the fat layers in the mouth combined with the sharp finish of the wine gave me a vibrant combination of flavors that was like nothing I have enjoyed before. I followed up with the Duck Breast that was prepared... read more

The Charcuterie appetizer is awesome, especially with a nice Cab. The unctuousness of the fat layers in the mouth combined with the sharp finish of the wine gave me a vibrant combination of flavors that was like nothing I have enjoyed before. I followed up with the Duck Breast that was prepared just like I would have done, (although better... More

I would highly recommend this restaurant. We have a large mix of food the duck, scallops and crab cakes and it was all top notch. They have an excellent wine list as well. The service was impeccable and the views were breathtaking, despite a very cold and windy day. The atomopshere is very cozy and warm and the decor was very... This restaurant is located at the top of one of the towers at the Hotel Captain Cook. The views of Anchorage and surrounding areas are spectacular. The food is excellent as is the service. Plan on spending around $50/person or more, particularly if you have cocktails.

Amazing sunset to the west and mountains to the east. The food was spectacular. Had the king crab and it was so tasty. Sweet yet succulent.

The pretentiousness exhibited by the staff was over the top. As I arrived, a man had just gotten off the elevator by the hostess stand and was on his way over to the bar before being intercepted by the hostess whom asked him to remove his cap. I had arrived a little later than my reserved time slot and the... More

Are you kidding me? After suffering through mediocre crabs legs ($58) with no accountrements, or a hint of a side (except a dressed lemon) I had the audacity to ask for a fork to go with my "to go" dessert that the waiter had dumped into a cardboard box without a plate or even a doile. I was told: "We... More

One of the best places we have dined at. Excellent food and wine and if not for the first ten minutes superior service too. Our experience started off on the wrong foot. Despite having made a reservation we were seated next to the cutlery table and when we protested we were seated in a section without a view and adjacent... More

We enjoyed a nice dinner here on our second night in Anchorage. The food was good but the dessert was amazing. Views were great. Make a reservation or you will not get a table by the window.

We have dinner here about once a year when we visit Anchorage. As always the experience and the food was grand. The staff is very attentive and very well informed about the menu and the wine list. One of the best things about the restaurant is the pace of the service. You never feel ignored and you never feel rushed.... More

Just came here for drinks, but it is a lovely bar with great service and wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Anchorage. All the food that passed us by looked very tasty
