First time eating at Sack's, and we both had a great meal. The Chicken and Prawns combo was good, with an interesting peanut sauce that was quite tasty. The poached pear salad was also nicely balanced and good.

Arrived on time at Sacks and were immediately seated and water poured. No ice which seemed strange. Upon inquiry we were told that the owner does not want ice in the water.... We ordered, and when the soup arrived we were told it was very hot (it was not). The salads were fine. When the entrees arrived, my halibut was... More

I dined here with a group of 11 people and we had nothing but rave reviews. Everyone's dish left us wanting more. The food was so juicy, tender and flavorful that it was hard for us to resist the temptation to lick our plates. Even the cheesy herb bread that they served before the meal was un-like anything we had... More

Sacks was outstanding. The service is remarkably awesome and efficient. My burger and fries just as requested topped off by their own made ketchup. The atmosphere was pleasant and tables are spaced roomily. Sacks is a must if you are a local, or a traveler passing through. Great selection on the menu and great value for reasonable prices.

I have dined at Sacks in the past and the food was delicious. Unfortunately my latest experience did not meet my expectations. The pear salad was delicious but the beef filet although perfectly cooked was dry and lacking in flavor. My dining companion chose the pork loin which was also dry and needed some type of sauce. On the bright... More

We have been going to sacks cafe since it opened. We have, in the past had many good meals. Our recent experiences have not been great however. While the prices are about pare for a nice night- out cafe, the food is not consistent. The salmon has been on the menu for a long time; in the same configuration; with... More

My dad and I ate here during the iditarod. We made a reservation which ended up being a good plan. Popular but small place. Great mussels. Good wine selection. Great salmon. Small bar, not much room to wait.

With a constantly changing, intriguing menu and their use of local produce and wild fish, this restaurant has been our favorite for over 20 years.
