I was seated at the bar when my $50 King Crab Legs arrived. I had asked the server to please have the chef open the legs for me. It arrived with a small slice in the leg. I said "this is not what I had in mind". The General Manger was at the bar and grabbed my plate and went... More

My apologies for how you feel about what happened. My intent was to provide you an easier way to eat your crab. I felt the best way to do this was to cut them completely in half in the back kitchen. I did use gloves while I did this. I sincerely felt I did not dump them back at you... More

In my opinion, it's too pricey for what your getting. Last time I was there I had the king salmon. It was $33 for the entree which consisted of a tiny filet and three small pieces of asparagus. If it weren't for the bread, that I had to pay extra for, I would have definitely left there hungry. After a... More

This was a perfect place for our last meal out in Alaska. easy walking from Copper Whale Inn-vast selection and excellent wines and beers available. We had the steak- best I had in my month in Alaska. Excellent wine-again the best I had while in Alaska

This was a relaxing and satisfying meal experience for us. There wasn't a lot of hustle and bustle and it was an easy walk from the Captain Cook Hotel. I had king crab legs that were delicious. So delicious that I didn't notice what anyone else had. We would have come in a little earlier than we did if we... More

Locals entertain here I was told. Service was friendly and efficient. The seafood choices I made were fresh and tasty. The wine list was average. Value for the dollar was really good. Worth a visit.

We had a really lovely waitress who gave us terrific service. We thought there would have been more variety on the menu and we ended up ordering a vegetarian meal that was very good. They do have a vegan and vegetarian menu for those who do not eat seafood.

We were in Anchorage for one evening, and we visited Orso for dinner. Large menu and extensive wine menu with two sizes of wine by the glass, which was nice for the light wine drinker. Service was good, portions plenty big, food tasty, close by to most hotels in Downtown Anchorage, greeted with a smile upon arrival and seated promptly.

Came highly recommended by a friend who used to live there. We were not disappointed. Hamburgers were outstanding! Beautiful restaurant and great service.
