Nice restaurant located downton, it offers a good service but average food (and prices are not so average...). Good selection of drinks, informal and young atmosphere, but not enough to go there a second time.

My wife enjoyed Salmon Scramble Egg Dish served with seasoned fried potatoes. Cleaned her plate. I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict served with crab cakes and seasoned fried potatoes. No leftovers. We noticed the manager was taking shots of hard liquor behind the bar, and was obviously heavily buzzed. This was at 12 noon. We informed the hostess about the man... More

Always enjoy a great meal at Orso's! There is not a bad choice on the menu and definitely save room for the Tiramisu.

My group of four went here as a second choice to the very busy, noisy urban restaurant next door. By far a smart decision on our part. I had the Halibut and it melted in my mouth, soooo good. Also had the daily soup, a creamy fish chowder that contained salmon and clams. Another great choice. Another in the group... More

Caned to Orso after being given an hour wait time at a restaurant down the block. I was glad we decided to give Orso a shot. The food was delicious and we walked in and they sat us immediately. May have been timing, but it was great after a long flight from Atlanta. Nice atmosphere. Semi-Formal or shorts would not... More

The food was delicious and presentation great. Seafood is their specialty and we enjoyed crab Mac n cheese as well as crab stuffed cod. The food wasn't cheap but it was one of the best meals we had in Anchorage.

We ate here 2x......and enjoyed both meals. For some reason we sat upstairs both times. Be sure you get reservations as they are very busy during the summer season! I had a small meal both times....satisfying and tasty!

We enjoyed a Friday night dinner at Orso. We ordered the seafood deviled eggs which were not bad (not necessarily a must have but good). The black bean soup was not great and I would not recommend. The king salmon was good not particularly a favorite, but we do typically prefer white fish. The crab cakes were good, and the... More

I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Orso in Anchorage. While it is rather expensive and you have to pay for everything, including the bread, it was a good meal. Without drinks the meal ran about $50. Reservations are recommended because it was very busy. The menu has many options but the sea food is their specialty. I had the halibut... More

Got into Anchorage and was taken to hotel before heading off to Whittier for a cruise the next morning. Wanted to get dinner so we found Orso. We all had great meals. There was a black cod dish on the menu that was outstanding! Salmon was fresh and always a good choice as well. This was a great choice for... More
