Excellent Food and Drinks

The food at Orso is phenomenal! There is so much variety, and it has a Mediterranean flair compared to its sister restaurant. The best value appetizer was definitely the tower with three samplers. It was plenty to start off the meal for four people, and it was so delicious! The main course was... read more

I think Orzo has something for everyone. I went there twice during a business trip. I had two very different meals for dinner. First night I had a seasonal salad and a hearty polenta and sausage appetizer. The next night I had the rockfish special with quinoa which was very nice - light and healthy, and delicious. Dining room is... More

My wife and I went to Orso today for our wedding anniversary. We went on the recommendation of a close friend, as we typically go to the Crow's Nest when we intend to make the evening more fancy. The open-table website was down for making reservations, so I wrote a quick email to Orso earlier today. I asked for a... More

The bar menu is limited. The grapefruit martini is amazing! The crab cakes were not good. Something wasn't quite right. The batter is hard. Not enough sauce to cover the taste. I'd rather go to Glacier brew house next door.

Food was very fresh and well put together, service was pleasant enough, and the calamari was some of the best I've ever had. The place was a bit pricey, but the overall experience was worthy of a return visit, for sure.

I had the cod at Orso. It was the best cod I had over a week trip to Anchorage- and I ate cod often. It was definitely the best prepared. The atmosphere was warm and the staff helpful.

If you want Italian food this is a decent spot offering more upscale dishes in a nice atmosphere. Owned by glacier brew house.

Orso is in a great location, the staff are friendly, but the meal wasn't great - especially for the price. The deep fried calamari was heavily breaded and served with the crumbs from the fry basket. The appetizer was about 2/3 fried calamari pieces and 1/3 greasy crumbs. The wild Alaskan salmon was a tail piece slightly overcooked, and the... More
