Lunch!

I went to lunch with my client to the Glacier Brewhouse. They have an extensive menu from burgers to seafood. It was very busy, but service was quick and friendly.

Food was good but beer was not our style. Inventive menu with many wood smoked items. Unfortunately it was very crowded the first time we stopped so we came back for lunch the following day. Typical brew pub although the wood stoves make it very stuffy in there.

The atmosphere here is very relaxed and inviting. They do get very busy, so I would recommend making reservations. The service was prompt and the waitress was friendly. I would recommend eating here!

While my friend and I had to wait for a seat for roughly 45 mins, it was well worth the wait. Both the food and the seating areas were great, and it is very comfortable -- there is a huge fireplace in the middle of the restaurant and there is an open kitchen and something you don't expect when you... We stopped in knowing nothing about this place, after many miles on the road from Homer to Anchorage. Ahhhh, warm cozy and vibrant place. Excellent staff service. Arugula, beet, goat cheese salad is excellent, as is seafood chowder, all burgers, no disappointments in our group of 4. Love the huge center fireplace. Go enjoy.

The Glacier Brewhouse gave us a tasty lunch after arriving in Anchorage. Lots of variety on the menu, up-scale pub fare and good brews.
