I picked the Moose's Tooth based upon the strength of the comments here on tripadvisor.com as well as my own almost-run-ins with a number of moose in AK. Not in the downtown hub of eateries but worth the trip. Not sure if they take reservations but the waits were 45 minutes. One of the most unique pizza menus you will ever see. I'm originally from Brooklyn, and now live in NJ near the famous DeLorenzo's.... so it's safe to say that I'm a pizza critic. The small pizzas are enough for 2. We had 6 people and each of us ordered a different pizza, which was fun, but we had lots of leftovers. Try the salmon pizza... it's good! more

Dined there in July 2008 -- My family had the margarita, roasted garlic, solstice, and brewhouse pizzas. The pizzas were excellent! We also had their root beer, which we loved. This place has a lot of variety so everyone can find something they like. more
