Our food was cold and the tenderloin was not good, It tasted like sirloin steak and I had to spit out a few pieces, due to it being too tough and grizzly to eat. Very disappointed, as this restaurant is suppose to be a 5 star restaurant and the place to go for good food and drinks. Will think twice... More

We went without reservations which you shouldn't do in August. We were able to get a table in the bar with a great window view. It is a very bus place. We both had the Halibut Cheeks. They were truly amazing. The best Halibut we had while in Alaska. They came with potatoes and a vegetable. They also had 14... More

We stayed just down the block from this fine restaurant so we returned a couple of times. Service is very friendly and the food (we mostly tried fish options, such as salmon and halibut) was excellent. We ate both in the dining room and in the bar. Service and views were fine in both places, though the bar is somewhat... More

I like to eat here whenever I'm visiting Anchorage and the food is always good. Service is usually good and it's always busy. This time I had no reservation so our family of three decided to sit at one of the tables in the bar where you can order off the same menu as the dining room (which we did).... More

This restaurant received great reviews. Very inviting atmosphere. Our waiter was knowledgeable and fun. Decided to have the Barents sea colossal red king crab legs. Wow. It was delicious. Best I've ever eaten..sides were not so great. But was left wanting more crab. Only received one crab leg - menu said it was 1 IB. But back in Chicago you... More

I will NOT be ordering lunch from Simons again. For $15 they gave me MAYBE 1/3 of a tiny slice of a lettuce wedge and French Onion soup that was missing the cheese and bread. I took a picture of my business card next to my salad and it was longer and wider than the serving they gave me. A... More

We walked just two blocks from our hotel for dinner. The menu is extensive and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the dishes. I had the king salmon, which was delicious! My husband had the shellfish stew and was very pleased with his dish. We were there on a Monday and it was very busy. Be sure to make reservations!

We had booked this before we went to Alaska after reading reviews of how good it was. I've given it 4*s because of the room and the view. Certainly the food is good but the waiting staff are a little offhand and dismissive The fish was good quality but nothing special unlike the view which is beautiful. I'd like to... More

Had a reservation, while waiting in line to meet the head of the house people kept cutting in line to find out when there table would be ready. Our server never introduced himself just started pouring waters and taking drink orders The food was ok and seemed a tad pricey. After our meals were brought to us a side of... More
