The best seafood restaurant we tried in Anchorage. Had the ASIAGO ALASKAN HALIBUT and sampled (off another plate) the grilled salmon - both delicious. Got there for the early bird specials (first eating) for the 3 courses for $25/ each which made it even better. Nice view of Cook Inlet, too. Nice drink and wine selection. more

Excellent meal in a lively atmosphere. Better to reserve a table given the crowd. Noisy but bearable. more

I've been here a number of times and always enjoy it but it is popular and reservations are highly recommended or you will experience a wait although you can often get into the bar to eat. The bar is usually crowded and noisy but not overwhelming. They have an extensive menu and portions are large. The view of the water... more

This was to be the highlight of my visit to Anchorage (I loved the sample menu on the website! and had told my friend I wanted to eat there multiple times, so I could try everything.). However, it was just average tasting food, expensive for the taste, and the menu didn't seem nearly as enticing as I'd read online. (older... more

Apparently you pay for the view, because the wait staff wasn't that attentive and the food was not properly cooked. Had king salmon (which was dry) and king crab (didn't seem fresh). more

I went here based on other reviews. I think it probably is one of the nicest views in Anchorage, on the Inlet. Nice atmosphere and I didn't think it was noisy. The food looked great and had an excellent presentation. One of the reviews below, says the server was "robotic" and another said the food was a bit bland. I... more

In July 2008, we ate at in the saloon portion of this restaurant. They had a large selection of seafood entrees. We had the ahi tuna, blackened rock fish, macadamia & crab stuffed halibut, halibut cheeks, king salmon, and sea scallop entrees. Everyone really liked the flavors of their food. The restaurant itself was noisy and hot though. more

I like to come here for special occasions. Mostly because of the price. However, the atmosphere and everything about it goes downhill when others wear jeans. I know it's Alaska, but come on. more

Bear in mind that this is also one of the noisiest restaurants in town. Locals (like me) tend not to go there so often due to that, plus the fact that there are now several other restaurants in Anchorage that are at least as good -if not better- and quieter/more intimate. Its pluses are that it's in a great location... more
