Food was great but not inexpensive. Service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views on the water. They validate parking at the Captain Cook lot.
Great place to celebrate a birthday. We had a large group which was probably why the food took a longer time to arrive than usual. Service was excellent. Our waiter was always on cue considering we had an extremely loud group of folks on the table next to us which made it very difficult to speak with each other or... More
The crab stuffed, macadamia nut crusted Halibut was voted most likely to be requested as a last meal/ dying request by our crowd! It was perfection! The scallops were also scrumptious...and the lemon drop martinis with an order of oysters on the half shell was a picture perfect start! The service was fantastic and they made our birthday girls feel... More
There were 8 of us on this trip. We went their for dinner. Table wasn't ready when we got there, so we went to the bar area for a few min. (approx. 10 min). Well worth the wait. The food was excellent, desserts excellent too and service was outstanding. Out of the 8 of us, everyone said, we should have... More

Definitely a high end restaurant with a number of budget conscious items on their lunch menu if you want one of the best views of the inlet in anchorage.
Fabulous view with wonderful food from Sunday brunch to a special celebration. Appetizers and adult beverages in the saloon are a great way to end the day.

Both dinners were very good and the portions were more than adequate. We also had a bottle of red wine, which was quite nice at a price comparable to other restaurants. The halibut dishes... More
the staff was more interested in getting the masses in and out; no so much on food quality. The crab was disappointing - not even close to as-described it he menus and actually looked like the "left overs"; possibly the "tourist version" but we've seen much better in smaller Anchorage eateries...
