I always come here when visiting Anchorage. It is part of a big chain but you don't have that feel when inside. All of the seats are arranged to have a window view of the Cook Inlet. I have been here in the past and watched Orca's playing in the Inlet. Incredible. The sunsets are also wonderful to see while... More

Just came back to our place, after a fabulous dinner. We are from GA, made reservations, requesting a waterview table. The request was honored. Fabulous View. On a Wednesday night, not during the summer 'season', this place was packed, not an open table, MAKE RESERVATIONS. The Halibut Cheeks , Scallops, and Salmon were just Superb. An Absolute MUST Dining Experience.... More

The waitress suggested & we tried a variation on their rockfish. They cooked it up "blackened" and it was excellent, along with the grilled shrimp. Good wine & beer too, nice place to get out of the snow & rain...and to enjoy the view

We had dinner here with several business associates at the recommendation of the hotel. Apparently the hotel steers everyone here as "the best restaurant in Anchorage"!! Unless there's a kick-back, we don't see why. The big hype for their halibut cheeks is just that - hype. The cheeks were mushy and luke-warm, and the stuffed halibut was over-salted, with a... More

Truly wonderful experience. The service, the attention to detail, the food and view create an experience you will savour forever. The staff was great at adding to the total experience and knew the menu and highlights. I didn't even know halibuts had cheeks, but for such an ugly fish, the taste treat was amazing. Everything is fresh and cooked to... More

We have lived here for 4 months and this is definitely our favorite. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly and we love the happy hour. We haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, but will be soon.

Definitely get a reservation! (Or maybe that's just because it was Prom night the one night we were in town.) We lucked out by getting a table when someone else cancelled and we are so glad we did b/c the food, the service, and the view were amazing! Two words - HALIBUT CHEEKS!! OMG i might drool on my keyboard.... More

I thought that I already had submitted a review for our Simon and Seafort dinner on March 1st. Well, whatever, it was such a positive experience it is worth repeating. It has become a tradition, almost, for us on theatre nights or opera nights, to enjoy dinner prior to the performance in down-town Anchorage. That area of the city is... More

What a mistake! $70 for a surf and turf. Steak was very blahhhhhhh. Crab was excellent. I usually get the fish dishes and will return to that philosophy. Yes, I'll be back, just not for beef.

I enjoyed a business dinner here with a group of 5 in late March 2013. Service was excellent, and although we didn't have a reservation we were promptly seated at a window table with a great view of the Cook inlet. The fresh halibut (first of the season) was "melt in your mouth" tender, as good as I've ever had.... More
