We had completed a cruise of the Alaska coast and decided to spend a couple of days in Anchorage. After disembarking the ship and travelling to Anchorage, we arrived in time for a late lunch. After checking in a bellmen at the hotel suggested we try Simon & Seaforts. It is a nice, easy going, casual seafood restaurant, Alaska, well... More

We recommend a table by the window. The seafood is exceptional. The service is terrific. The ambiance is very nice. We returned after a long period and found that it was as good as we remembered it! Can't say that of many places--if they still exist.

Can't beat the view on a clear night. Always a treat when the food is also top notch. Have been a customer for 30+years and still consider their seafood fettuccine the best I've ever had. Perfect for a special night out.

A visit to Simon's is not complete without the spinich and honey mustard salad. This time we also ordered the french onion soup and were not disappointed. Nice ambiance and good service.

We had a wonderful party for dinner in a corner with a view overlooking the bay. The food was excellent and overall service was good. We had to remind the server we ordered an additional drink after our original order was placed. The food was prepared as ordered and each dish was delicious. We will definitely go back again and... Been here tons of times after work when I lived in Anchorage, usually the Bar side. The restaurant is nice too, a bit noisy if you want to have a conversation and I find the meals somewhat overpriced but, the views are gorgeous. There's always a crowd on the Bar side and whilenyou can get the Restaurant here too, the... More

I'm usually known to frequent Simon's for happy hour - you can't go wrong with delicious cocktails (pomegranate mojito) and half-price apps. My favorite stand-by meals are the maytag blue cheese salad and halibut cheeks. Although, I noticed on my last visit that the "large" blue cheese salad was about half the size of what it used to be...it was... More

I had dinner here last night. I was seated immediately at a table by the window which overlooks the harbor..really a spectacular view of the sunsetting from there. My waiter was excellent and very attentive. I ordered the fresh Haddock cheeks pan seared with asiago cheese and bread crumbs. Garlic mashed potatoes and broccollini perfectly cooked completed that plate. I... More
