I have eaten at Simon and Seafort's at least a dozen times. The chef is very creative and is able to pair interesting combinations of food. The cuisine is upscale and they definitely have enough versatility to please both vegetarians and carnivores alike.

The view is the best part of this restaurant. It overlooks the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet. The food is delicious. The service is good.

We reserve Simons for special occasions. It is always a wonderful experience. While expensive by most standards, the food and service is without blemish. The "Eat, Drink & Earn" card takes some of the sting out of the price. Our last visit was paid for on points!

Simon & Seafort's has been the Anchorage Bowl's favorite high end seafood restaurant for many years. The food is great, the service is good, and the view is spectacular if you have a window seat. I'm sure many a child owes their existance to a few of S&S's scratch margaritas and a fine meal.

This place used to be high on my list of restaurants. Because of their prices I shied away. My son's invitation brought us there. Even though he made reservation we had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated, It was very noisy. I picked the" Grilled Steak Salad" ( medium to rare), which arrived cool more well done than... More

Took visitors there for fresh seafood and conversation. Has to wait over 20 minutes for our reserved table. So loud in the restaurant that we could not hear conversation across the table. (table of 4) Additionally, the noise caused the waiter to make mistakes in an order. Luckily, it was for after dinner coffee that on first try was cold.... More

Splurge yourself with a delicious meal, fancy restaurant, go get a window table for beautifull view of Alaska. Cons: The halibut cheek & NY Strip is not as good as the rumour said.

Today, 4-5-14, my wife and I visited Simon And Seafort's and we were very impressed! We come here from time to time, more during spring and summer than other times of the year, but today was "something special". The bar area is our favorite area to eat in, especially when its not so crowded; the place was almost empty. We... More

Of course, opinions are aplenty and we didn't get to try EVERY restaurant in Anchorage, but it's the best one at which we ate during our two week stay. If you order nothing else on the menu, try the King Crab Wontons. They're really more like Chinese crab rangoons. Stuffed with a king crab/cream cheese combo that is mouth watering.... More
