I made a reservation on my last night in alaska and wanted it to be so great. We ordered the crab appetizer and it came out with ice chunks and had to send it back. The waiter was clearly annoyed that we were sent it back and it went downhill from there. My mother never had a knife once he... More

Keep in mind that Anchorage is not known for gourmet restaurants with fancy decor. This is as close as it gets in my experience. The view from the window side tables matches a lot of the fanciest places I've been. The bar is a warm, noisy, and friendly place to start off, and the food is very good. The halibut... More

We met a couple of friends while we were on a tour of the Yukon and Alaska. They told us it was a great restaurant. It was, indeed, very busy. We were seated in a booth and had a very nice waitress who was very attentive. We ordered drinks and they were average and then we ordered our meals. Three... More

Had reservations for 7:30 and had to wait 15 minutes. The waiter started out ok but after served dinner he was very hard to find. One member of our party flagged down a bus boy to have her cool potatoes heated. The waiter never came over to ask how things were and did not say a word when dropped off... More

Group of 4 men enjoyed a great meal in this very busy restaurant - reservations are clearly needed because of its popularity - highly recommend.

The service as always was great and they were very attentive to the needs of my grandson with a gluten free diet. place was booked solid but we went at the start of happy hour and were seated at a window table with the beautiful view very quickly. Reservations a must! I also requested a window seat because of the inlet views-not disappointed! My husband ordered crab & macadamia nut stuffed halibut and I ordered Alaskan King Salmon. Both were excellent choices; however the potato fingerlings were overlooked and the broccoli side was undercooked. We thought uh-oh! until coffee was poured-you can tell a lot about a restaurant... Very busy restaurant. Great location looking over the water to the mountains and beautiful sunset if lucky enough to have clear day. Food is good but not great. I had the signature dish of crab stuffed halibut. Had to much buttery sauce on it that tended to make it taste a little greasy My wife had grilled salmon which was... More

We have DINED here for our 30th,35th,40th and 45th anniversary. Each meal has been very good and as an occasion they treated us special. Flowers on table and a complementary dessert. The service is prompt but not rushed.

We made reservations and mentioned our wedding anniversary and first trip to Alaska. So surprised to see a special table set up for us with rose pedals on the table and a great view. After a wonderful main course, we splurged with two great desserts. This was the best meal of our trip (which also included a cruise).
