Great vibe though quite expensive

We came here for our anniversary and the staff had put rose petals on our table for us. Also each member of the waitstaff wished us a happy anniversary. Food was tasty. We went for the early menu because it's a great deal ($30 for appetizer, dinner and dessert). Very satisfied with the food and service. Great view too! The... More

They had the hard part right. The food was excellent. The service was... well there was no service. I find it hard to believe some people have rated this restaurant as having excellent service. When the bus person is the one going for your glass of wine or for more coffee there is a problem. Several people had our hotel... More

we were a group of 6 from work who had reservations for dinner here. Being my first visit to Anchorage on work - I was blown away by the view - it has sweeping views of the waters, the inlet and the mountains beyond. Very nice. The food was very good. They have plenty of meat and seafood. I being... More

We stayed at a B & B near this restaurant and went there 3 times for a light dinner. There was always a wait for a restaurant seat, so we sat in the bar, where they also serve food. The service was poor on 2 occasions and the quality of the food was never the same, but very good. The... More

We had a delicious dinner and felt very pampered by the exquisite service we received. You get the feeling right away that this is a special place in Anchorage. Not only was the food delicious, but I really liked the ambiance of the place and the huge vintage bar with all the polished wood and sparkling glass was lovely! I... More

Simon & Seafort's offered the best Halibut in our 3 week trip in Alaska (and we sampled often). Would highly recommend for dinner and the view is beautiful.

The view of the inlet was great, but the food and service was outstanding. The waitstaff was a huge help, and even told us about verbal orders we could make, because some items are not on the printed menu, not even as a special. I love it and would go back if given the chance.

Set overlooking water and mountains - perfect afternoon spot to chill out. Loved the chowder, rich and creamy mouthful of flavor! Varied menu and good wine/beer selection. Easy and relaxed atmosphere with a friendly, big smile service :-)

We ate here twice during our visits to Anchorage. The first time we ate the special, which was halibut served two ways. One was halibut stuffed with king crab meat, which was very tasty. The second was a first for us - halibut cheeks sauteed with a panko and asiago cheese coating. These were outstanding!! In addition the waitress was... More
