We went to Alaska on our honeymoon and actually wound up eating at Snow City a total of three times. Their breakfasts are excellent (reindeer sausage, anyone?) and they have some really great drinks for people like me who take some coffee with their sugar. :) The artwork was really fun and atmosphere is great. Their hash browns are cooked... More

I went here for breakfast and told them I only had 30 minutes. I was seated & ordered breakfast and juice & coffee to go. 30 minutes later I walked out having had a juice & the coffee but no breakfast as they still had not served it. Very disappointing!

My wife and I went in June on a very rainy morning. No lines to wait because of the weather. Now I can see why there are long lines to get in on most days. I took forever for a waitress to wait on us after being seated and took at least a half hour to get our breakfast. Like... More

I found this restaurant before we left on our trip; we were looking forward to eating here when in Anchorage, the morning before our cruise left. A Sunday morning, it was crowded, but there was lots of space to wait and the crowd was cheerful. The 20 minutes went by fast. We tried several things but I have to say... More

Loved this place. The food was great along with the service and atmosphere. I would go early if you don't want to wait. But if you do wait, there is coffee for you while waiting. I had read it was local's favorite. I can see why.

during our recent stay in anchorage the snow city cafe was the only cafe we used, we found it had a good menu and friendly staff, it was easy to see why it was so popular,

Snow City was recommended to us by our bus driver. He told us it was very popular so we should book ahead which we did. When we arrived it was very buys with a lot of people waiting for a table. As we had booked we were shown quickly to our table. The staff were nice and friendly and it... More

Be ready for a long wait, but it is worth it. Great for people watching--some real different types of people! The art and antique gallery across the street is a great place to visit while you wait. There is a nice view of the water about 200 feet from the front door.
