This is a wonderful place - laid-back vibe and great food. We stopped in on a Thursday around lunch time for the soul purpose of breakfast. We were not disappointed! We were seated immediately, and our espresso and orders were up in no time. They have a great looking menu, and our Benedicts were excellent. The only flaw was in... More

Snow City Cafe has pretty good food and a fun atmosphere but it's so busy that it's often hard to get a table and then it takes a long time for the food to arrive. We've waited over an hour on a Saturday morning for a table. If you catch at a slow time it's great.

Snow city is an eclectic artistic little cafe. The food was very good and choice were very Alaskan. We had Tundra Scramble with Reindeer sausage and the Deadliest catch with salmon and king crab cakes Benedict. The waiters and decor is artistic. We had a 45 min wait at 9:30 am. If your not rushed to eat its worth the... More

Third trip to Anchorage and every day there started at Snow City. Excellent array of menu options from omelets to pancakes to Benedicts! I am absolutely spoiled on reindeer sausage with sourdough toast, and the coffee is super! The wait-staff are all interestingly adorned (when you go you will understand), but the various decorations do not hamper the very attentive... More

Snow City has always been a local favorite and I thought it was good; but just not for me. I went to Snow City after being away from it for a couple of years and I wasn't prepared to give it a fair chance as I went on Mothers' Day (2013). I went with my wife, 2 friends and their... More

Have kept meaning to try this place and finally got a chance. Had the half turkey and Swiss sandwich with a side of gumbo. The sandwich was small for a $9 sandwich but had good flavor. The gumbo was tasteless and missing tomatoes. I do not like to salt my food and the gumbo required salt. I also had to... More

Dear B0zak, I read your review on TripAdvisor, and am sorry to hear your first time with us was less than stellar. We try our best to uphold a very high standard for both service and food quality, and we will review our gumbo recipe with our chef to make sure it's the best it can be. Thank you for... More

A great place to get a hearty and healthy breakfast. The Salmon Benedict was great. Also the Mediterranean scrambled eggs were very good. And they have some great homemade jams.

Have been up in Anchorage on several business trips recently. This place is the best for lunch, and the lines prove it. Call ahead for your order if you are taking it out. Also a great breakfast place. Off the beaten path at the end of the street, and people make it here for their tasty soups and sandwiches daily..

I am from Juneau and now live in Anchorage(unfortunately) This place seemed like it would be cool...and after my first bad experience I decided that everyone deserves a second chance! So, on my second visit the wait was about an hour(one a good note) you can have all the coffee you want while you wait. After getting seated, we gave... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am so sorry that your order was made incorrectly on two separate visits, that must have been incredibly frustrating! To make sure we're focusing in the right areas of training, did your server offer to fix the mistake or replace your food? Accuracy is a very important part of... More

yep, there's a bit of a wait, but the food is really good, coffee available while you wait, hot cinnamon roll samples, friendly service... even the opportunity to play rock, paper, scissors. no complaints! I love eggs benedict, and there are multiple choices.
