Simple advice from a local. There's much better places in anchorage to dine. Consistently bland, no imagination, menu selection is just plain boring. If you like mediocre cuisine, this is the place for you.

Just a spectacular breakfast joint. I got their "Deadliest Catch" benedict, which had one made with a salmon cake and the other with a crab cake. The crab cake was fantastic, and that's saying something from a Marylander. it put the poor salmon cake, which was also delicious, to shame. My boy got the chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes (7... Came by for lunch and did not want to wait an hour so we took our reindeer gumbo and salad outside into the gorgeous Alaskan sunshine. It was quick and delicious but I wish we could have come back again for breakfast.

Firstly this cafe is located a two minute walk from Resolution Park and the Captain cook hotel. It is busy but during the week, we never waited more than 5 minutes. The coffees are great, if you like a sweet coffee I recommend the Almond Joy but all coffees looked good. With breakfast comes a lot of options, you can... More

We stopped here around 12:30 and had seen high ratings for their breakfast (breakfast is always served when open). Blueberry pancakes, ham, eggs. All very good and large portions. Easy to find at the edge of downtown and near the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.

We went here for breakfast last week while vacationing in Anchorage after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. I booked a reservation online so avoided the wait. This is a very popular place, with overflow crowds but we were seated within about 5 minutes of our reservation. I had a tofu scrabble with spinach and other veggies and was able to substitute... On the advice of a local, we made breakfast reservations and walked from the Captain Cook Hotel. Fabulous breakfast burrito with just enough spice. Great coffee, lots of energy, obviously a very popular place. Yes, reservations are suggested!

We had heard this cafe served an excellent breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The Deadliest Catch entree (eggs, crab cake, salmon cake and potatoes) was excellent. It was crowded, but we made a reservation (highly recommended) and avoided the long wait. Good service.

Snow City was a short walk from our hotel The Captain Cook. Loved the friendly staff, the free self-serve coffee while you waited, in a variety of mixed mugs and the food! We did eat here 3 days in a row because it was more charming/less expensive than the hotel breakfast and did not regret it. However we were there... More
