I'm not a big burger and fries fan, so you'll have to rely on the other reviews regarding the tastiness of the burgers. Despite my last of love for this type of food, I love going to the Arctic Roadrunner. First, figuring out the ordering system makes you feel like you're stuck in an episode of "Seinfeld." Don't approach the... more

Arctic Roadrunner is the classic burger joint. Nothing fancy, just great food in a good old fashion family environment. Don't come on Sundays, and make sure you have cash or you won't eat. Nothing like watching the snow outside, eating a classic arctic burger with some frozen onion rings in front of the fire. Thank you Arctic Roadrunner for all... more

We stopped at the Arctic Roadrunner one day for lunch while on vacation. They have a very large selection of burgers, including a halibut burger! Both the halibut burger and regular buger that my wife had were very tasty. They were made fresh. Just place an order at the counter and then pick it up when it's ready. Everything is... more

A must-stop whenever in Anchorage, this place has been here forever. And the food is just as good as I remember it was 30 years ago. more

Last year in July we dined at this burger place. The burgers were decent, and the berry lemonades were very good. It's very affordable, and it was nice to have a dinner without the long waits at sit-down restaurants. more

My in-laws took us here when we were visiting, telling us it'd been a long time favorite and had the best burgers in town. They were right on both counts. Very good hamburgers, the Kodiak is unique, and excellent, albeit greasy, homemade onion rings, not to mention a good shake menu. More unique is the location, as it is located... more

I like the Alaskan for a basic burger. But the Mexican with a slice of mild green chili is my favorite. Great place to meet friends and grab a quick meal. I've been eating at the Arctic Roadrunner since it wasa tiny trailer on a vacant lot between Benson and Northern Lights Blvd...that's been 43 years of great food. We... more

While spending two weeks in Anchorage for work I stopped in here for dinner based on a local's recomendation. The place is way cool. The walls are like a museum. I had a Salmon Burger which was good and the hot chocolate is excellent. This is just a sandwich place where you order at the counter, but what unique one.... more
