Fresh Beef w/ a View

We ate here July 1st... We all had burgers, they were fresh and made to our request.... Although the place was busy, the wait was short.... The view in the back patio of the creek is lovely.... Staff is friendly...

The food here is just okay for me. I'm a burger lover, and it just wasn't so great to me. I went with a friend of mine who enjoys this place, and even her experience was drastically different. There are some things are pretty good here though. You may enjoy the homemade fries.

Outstanding burger with a lot of options. Baco, cheddar, with/without. Good sides as well, particularly the fresh cut onion rings. Clean facility with a friendly and helpful staff.

Take your pick, a full range from a plain American burger, to whatever you can handle, prices increase based on your toppings.

Some of the best burgers in Anchorage. Bacon cheeseburger with added blue cheese was delicious! Worth the trip to midtown, for sure. The french fries weren't the best. I like the fresh cut potato fries, but they needed to be cooked a little longer to make them crispy.

I've been eating at The Arctic Roadrunner for over 30 years and have never, ever, been disappointed with their burgers. The owner, Dick Sanchez has insisted on consistent quality and service since day one and it shows. There a are two locations, one at Arctic and Fireweed and the other main store on the Old Seward Hwy just south of... More

Ok, it's a hamburger place. But given how the local, homemade burger joint is becoming harder and harder to find, this place really impressed. The burgers were excellent, the rings nice and crispy and the shake smooth and creamy. The decor is a historian's dream with lots of pictures of local families and past customers. Prices are very reasonable for... More

The burgers are great here. The patties are not pressed frozen like all the others. They are hand pressed. The fries are fresh and homemade too. Not frozen from a bag. I would go back if I visit Alaska again.

I ate at Arctic Roadrunner as a kid- and not much has changed since then, just more photos on the walls :) it's a great family place, burgers, fries and shakes to please everyone. As others have said, it is cash only. It is a little spendy, but worth it. In the summer you can eat outside and sit right... More

I was looking for something fast but local, and was told to check this place out. I am so glad I went. I got this fish sandwich that had cheese and onion rings and tartar sauce. The cole slaw was pretty dang good too. I went back several times during my trip when I just wanted to take something back... More
