Get your burger or halibut sandwich here!

Kind of expensive but awesome food! I got the halibut and oh man, what a treat!! You get to decorate your own food and be aware CASH ONLY! Well worth the trip and money. There is seating outdoors during the warm weather, right next to a creek. Watch out for greedy ducks lol!!!

We stopped here for lunch for a burger and fries, three adults and three kids. The burgers were very good and juicy. We should have ordered more fries. They were delicious. I especially liked the outdoor eating area where we could have a comfortable lunch outside with three small children without having to worry about disturbing other patrons. Lots of... More

Saw a review that it was one of the best burgers in town, so I was curious to try it. The place looks dated, and not in a good way. The sign on the building celebrates their 40 years in business from 1964 to 2004--should have been updated last year to celebrate 50. There are two sign boards you can... More

Arctic Roadrunner is a great burger place. Be prepared...CASH ONLY. We order several types of burgers and everything was great. I recommend the onion rings...make sure you get the hand cut onion rings. They were falling apart but that didn't keep us from diving in. Yum! The atmosphere is bursting with the restaurant's long Anchorage history. We enjoyed our lunch... More

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and onion chips. The burger could easily feed two people, the onion chips were hot and crispy, I also had a strawberry milkshake. The shakes are a little expensive but are very good. The owner was walking around and speaking with all of the guests and sharing stories about how the business started and the... More

This is a fast food place with very "average" food. Burgers were OK, nothing special. The chili tasted canned, and the onion rings were so greasy that the breeding fell off of all of them. The order taker/cashier was she'll shocked, and the order came out wrong. Not woth going out of your way to visit.

Known for its halibut burger, Arctic Roadrunner was out of halibut on our visit. We did have burgers, fries and onion petals. The food was good and the burger combinations interesting and flavorful. The milkshakes received rave reviews from our dining companions, but our meals tapped out our cash. Prices are higher than you'd expect in the Lower 48, but... More

I've lived in Alaska for 29 years and have yet to find a better burger than Arctic Roadrunner. Always fresh, always hot, always delicious! The onion rings and hand mixed malts are out of this world.

Went here with my husband and parents while visiting my family who claimed they had the best burgers in town. They closed early so we only had 30 minutes to eat and only took cash so we had to use the atm machine in the lobby which of coarse charged us a fee to use...kind of a nuance. I was... More

Arctic Roadrunner has great burgers, including halibut and salmon burgers. They only take cash. Their Oreo milkshakes are divine :-)
