We've become almost regulars and visit Pipers usually about once a month after work. It's my husband and my time just for us and it's even better with good food. My favorite is the Halibut Fish and Chips. The halibut is fresh and great and I love their tartar sauce with capers. Sometimes I'll substitute the coleslaw for the chips... More

Ate there 2 days in a row for breakfast and it was delicious! Very pleasantly surprised! Waitress originally from New Jersey and couldn't have been nicer. Very friendly and informative!

Great selection of food. We had a large group and slit a bunch of the appetizers. Fish tacos, sliders, wings, etc. everyone thought everything was good. Nice service.

Arrived in Anchorage after a long day of travel. Needed something near hotel. Mac and cheese with smoked salmon was very good, as was the clam chowder. Great service.

Hotels don't always have the best restaurants but this was definitely an exception. Our group of four had a long day of fishing and flying back to Anchorage so we were tired and ready for a good meal. Piper's was a welcome amenity at our hotel. The main restaurant was closed (unusual for Saturday evening) but the bar and lounge... More

I was in Anchorage for a day before heading down to the Kenai for some fishing. The weather was great and I was looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy a beer and some sun. I was staying near the airport (Courtyard) and found Piper's just across the street. Sat for a few hours watching float planes take... More

Halibut and Mussels with pesto fettuccine are both very good. Bar staff fast, friendly and a good time. Love how you can watch the sea planes from the restaurant. It is also very close to the airport.

I really enjoyed this place and that had a lot to do with the beautifully sunny day we ate lunch on their patio. Great views of Lake Hood and the seaplanes landing and taking off. The food was really tasty as well. I had Halibut fish and chips, my favorite meal here in Alaska and the portion was huge. Great... More

It's close to the airport(5 Min).A good sports bar with a great selection of finger food or you have the restaurant attached to it for a quieter setting. The patio overlooking the lake that sea planes land and take of on is also a nice addition that most places can't offer.

Atmosphere is great here as the bar was packed with local pilots either coming or going off a flight. We were there for happy hour and had local drafts and shared appetizers. Wings, sliders and nachos were all delicious. Quick service which made it an ideal choice before flying out that evening. We sat inside but weather permitting can watch... More
