As soon as you walk in the door, they offer you a sample of one of their daily breads. The sandwiches are a little spendy compared to prices in the lower 48....$7 for half a sandwich, but it is delicious!

Great Harvest offers generous samples of their fresh baked bread as you walk through the door. Their sandwiches are delicious and the service is good. My favorite bread is the cracked pepper Parmesan but the asiago and spinach feta breads are also delicious. Carb heaven!

The bread is absolutely delicious here. My favorite is the Spinach and Feta. The staff is very helpful when trying to decide what to purchase, they have samples.

We have some amazing bakeries here in Anchorage this is one of them. Every single loaf is good, the White Chocaloate chip and the Pumpkin swirl are tops.

An adventure in breads! (and also stuff to go on it). I could get full on the aroma alone! And the artisan and specialty breads are to die for!

I want some of these recipes. I make bread but I can not make ANYTHING like they serve here! The flavors are great and the variety is wonderful. I will be going back soon. The only reason I don't go more oft is that I walk up there and it is a bit cold and slick to take the kids... More

our girl scout group had a tour and the folks were so friendly. the flour is ground at this location so it cannot get any fresher! They are great supporters of the community and their bread is fantastic!

I actually avoid going to Great Harvest most of the year because their cinammon rolls (and a number of other breads) are so good that I can't stop eating.

But it costs 8$ per loaf!!!!!!!! I liked that they gave samples. The bread was really too expensive. Fire Island Rustic Bakery is just as good and less costly.

When I first visited and a friend got in line to sample a bread, she got like one the size of a cinnabun, I knew I'd love this place. The sandwiches are awesome and breads are so fresh. Do taste them at the counter because some you may like more than others and they have seasonal ones too. Happy carbing... More
