Such a Sinfully Delicious Place

I love their cinnamon swirl bread. I'm embarrassed to say how long a loaf will last. I turn into a glutton. Cinnamon swirl is the only thing I buy, but have tasted the samples, which are graciously given out. Heck, I'm a pig with the samples too. Whether they are the whole-wheat bread or the... read more

This is a great place to get sandwiches and bread to go. We ordered sandwiches here to take down to the Portage Glacier on our drive down to Seward. They were delicious! Try the pesto bread!

I do so love this bakery. From the free treats (tastes of breads and sometimes cookies, etc.), to the actual breads themselves it is a great place. Friendly staff, all kinds of breads, from the white chocolate with cherries (I think) to the regular types. All good, ALL the time! They offer gift baskets that include a very sharp knife... More

Oh wow, if you LOVE bread, then you have to visit the Great Harvest Bread Co. Their bread is made fresh daily, and they will give you very generous samples that fill you up. We love their homemade sandwiches too. Only con is the seating is very limited. Cinnamon chip bread is my fav.

Great Harvest never disappoints. I look forward to their daily specials often. Most recently the Parmesan black pepper was a hit at our house. Not only is the bread delicious but they support the community with supplying treats at local runs and tours of their facility for elementary classes. It's a fantastic organization!

The first day we stopped we just picked up cookies and garlic cheese bread. All yummy! The second time we stopped was for sandwiches. Big sandwiches, very filling. I had the chipotle turkey. It wasn't very spicy; I was hoping for a bigger 'hit', but very flavorful nonetheless. Busy place, but ample seating for a Monday lunch time.

Food is great & the service can't be beat. I love going to GHB because everyone's always so happy. I could live off of the samples, but mostly it's a monthly trip here to bring morning snacks to work.

I love this place. They donate all over town, have excellent service, make sandwiches, also have gourmet coffee and a cute art scene. Without being pretentious! I recommend any of the sweet breads or the scones, and the Chugach Rustic.
