The place is so tacky that the moment we entered it robbed us of our appetite. It is suffocating and stiffling inside. The food we ordered were all terrible, too spicy and not fresh at all. We ordered Tandoori Chicken and what they brought was something else and the steward argued with us that it was indeed Tandoori chicken. We... More

We ordered some food with a mix tandoori platter as appetizer. The dal was ok and and veg korma was made with canned fruits and cream. The appetizer came last and 20 minutes after all the other dishes were served. It was half cooked at best and no apologies, etc. Could not eat the tandoori mix grill and had to... More

The buffet has good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The food has the proper spices and thankfully is not full of cream which is a major problem with many Indian restaurants. The carpet needs to be replaced.

The food here is decent, comes out hot and has some flavor, but nothing special. Canned fruit in several of their dishes, including the Korma, which I thought was odd. Service here is terrible, even in an empty restaurant you will not be offered water when you are seated and wait 10 minutes to be asked if you are ready... More

Had a Groupon for this place and although it was a 2 mile walk from our hotel, it was WELL WORTH IT!!! The food was fantastic- my first experience eating Indian food and I loved it! Definitely a must go to place while in Anchorage.

We were hesitant to try Indian food in Alaska, but were so glad we did! We've eaten Indian food all over the world and this was some of the best we've ever had. Service was great, they were attentive without hovering, refilled our drinks promptly. Food was fresh and well-made, nothing was overcooked. We ordered our food "medium" and it... More

I am a frequent customer of Indian resturants in NY and Europe. It is such a disappointment to be served the kind of food that we ordered. The shrimp in the mixed tandoori grill was so leathery, the lamb was so tough and dry. They should be ashamed to serve such quality of food to their customers.

My family and I decided to eat Indian food on our last day in Anchorage and lord it was terrible! We ordered chicken tikka masala, paaner tikka masala, vegetarian biryani, and garlic naan. First of all when we got seated they didn't even offer us water which really pissed me off because I was really thirsty and its kind of... More

I've been here several times over the past year and the food has always been great. The atmosphere is nice, but the prices are pretty steep. I like it, but not enough to go back again just because there are other places in town to eat that are just as good for less money.

The staff let us in 10 min after their closing time. Since they were closing, we were asked to order quickly if possible. We had channa masala and navaratnam korma. We ordered 'medium', and it was spicy (which we loved). Great service and friendly staff. We came back the next day to order a paneer curry 'to go'. I have... More
