I've eaten Indian food in various states of the USA and this was one of the best restaurants. I had the goat curry, a new addition to the menu, and it was to die for. My son was not as happy with his chicken korma, but the rest of the family were more than pleased with their choices. The decor... More

I love this place. Their food is very authentic and delicious. They have a fantastic lunch buffet, so you can sample different dishes. It's one of our family's favorites.

We are a family where the adults grew up in Bombay although settled in the USA. We have traveled in different parts of USA and Europe. Anywhere we travel, we always miss Indian food after a few days and look for an Indian restaurant. So, while in Anchorage recently looked up and found this restaurant. We are just happy finding... Having been to this restaurant numerous times, and as an American, I find Mr. Satyabrata's comment very unconvincing and racist. First of all, before even eating his food, if he can complain about loosing his appetite just upon entering the restaurant, that suffices for the fact his intention may had been to degrade the service of Bombay Deluxe. Second of... More

The place is so tacky that the moment we entered it robbed us of our appetite. It is suffocating and stiffling inside. The food we ordered were all terrible, too spicy and not fresh at all. We ordered Tandoori Chicken and what they brought was something else and the steward argued with us that it was indeed Tandoori chicken. We... More

We ordered some food with a mix tandoori platter as appetizer. The dal was ok and and veg korma was made with canned fruits and cream. The appetizer came last and 20 minutes after all the other dishes were served. It was half cooked at best and no apologies, etc. Could not eat the tandoori mix grill and had to... More

The buffet has good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The food has the proper spices and thankfully is not full of cream which is a major problem with many Indian restaurants. The carpet needs to be replaced.

The food here is decent, comes out hot and has some flavor, but nothing special. Canned fruit in several of their dishes, including the Korma, which I thought was odd. Service here is terrible, even in an empty restaurant you will not be offered water when you are seated and wait 10 minutes to be asked if you are ready... More

Had a Groupon for this place and although it was a 2 mile walk from our hotel, it was WELL WORTH IT!!! The food was fantastic- my first experience eating Indian food and I loved it! Definitely a must go to place while in Anchorage.

We were hesitant to try Indian food in Alaska, but were so glad we did! We've eaten Indian food all over the world and this was some of the best we've ever had. Service was great, they were attentive without hovering, refilled our drinks promptly. Food was fresh and well-made, nothing was overcooked. We ordered our food "medium" and it... More
