I always overheat when I visit La Hacienda. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. Their food is very tasty though and you simply cannot beat their service. Always fun and enjoyable.
My husband and i decided to try this place because we had a buy one get on free coupon. The rice was amazingly moist, the beans were not all dried up like other places i've tried and the taco was very tasty. My husband really enjoyed his chicken burrito. We also ordered the homemade salsa and jalapenos to go. Will... More
Being from the South, we have a certain expectation for Mexican food. Our family that lives in Anchorage, who are also from the South, said that this and one other Mexican restaurant had descent Mexican food. The salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce, and the food was fair. It also took the wait staff a while to get to us. So,... More
The picture shown here is for their location in Wasilla. The address beside the picture is for the location we visit. The food is average. The spicy salsa is very hot. The mild salsa and chips are good, and service is usually fast, and friendly here. We used a coupon that is on the back of my grocery store receipt,... More
We visited La hacienda looking for "Great Mexican Food" unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. The sauce on my enchiladas was very spicey and my husband who never leaves food on his plate did not finish his dinner. You can order alacart which is a nice option for small appetites. The descriptions... More
Took my son for dinner as he loves Mexican food! Ordered carne Asada for him and taquitos for myself! Large portions couldn't finish my plate probably because I filled up on warm chips and salsa. Wait was short got a booth seat right away. Food came out about 5 min after order. Waitress was great refilled drinks without asking. Only... More
My family visited this restaurant on Friday. What was suppose to be a special ending to my sons visit in Anchorage before deployment to Afghanistan turned into a health scare. First we had to sign up on a list, and we waited for 15-20 minutes for a seat. Once seated service was exceptionally speedy. Chips and salsa were brought out... More
I had the combo number 4. It was good. Chips and salsa was below average. House margarita was way below average especially for the $8.25 price. This is just typical Tex-Mex. Nothing special here and especially no WOW factor present.
We 4 Texans visited Hacienda Mexican Restaurant to satisfy a Tex-Mex craving. Thankfully, we found it here. The chips and salsa are outstanding. All of our entrees were fabulous and the margaritas were some of the best we've ever had. And the service is top-notch. Satisfy your Tex-Mex craving here!
