This has the feel of a 100 yen Sushi bar if you enjoy the conveyor. But, I recommend sitting at the window booths where you can order your meals. The portions were adequate, of good value, fresh and traditional. To my delight, not many "upscale rolls." Our server was knowledgable and happy.

Blue C Sushi has tasty food, a conveyor belt which circles the room as you pick up dishes you want to try. I am fond of the little salads with chicken or ahi. This one is in University Village, handles the crowds quite well. And it's very child friendly.

just ok. Plates pricy. sushi ok; cuts of sashimi stingy. Plates circulate around on a belt that passes each seating area. Fun for kids if you are interested in introducing them to Japanese cuisine

This restaurant was early on known for good sushi, large selection of "other "small plates like seaweed salad and tempura and great prices. Well unfortunately all of that has changed. The sushi quality is still about average for belt restaurants, selections are much smaller, and prices are much higher. Visiting three of the locations over December showed almost empty restaurants... More

I ate at the Fremont Blue C seven years ago and remember it being SO SO great, and even more fun than the sushi was the great inventive cocktail I had. I was excited to take my girlfriends here in hopes of a similar experience, but alas...it was oh so generic now. The sushi was clearly for "the masses" and... More

I love sushi but had never been to a conveyer belt sushi bar. It was a really fun experience for me, and I find it helpful to be able to see different dishes. Plates are sorted by color, and each color represents a different price point ranging roughly from $3-$6. Portion sizes are small so it's easy to keep grabbing... More

Overall, we love going to Blue C Sushi, but we have to time it just right because large families with children like to frequent the restaurant and the wait can get quite long. We tend to have the best experience when it isn't so busy and the service isn't so hectic.

This is actually pretty good food for being off a conveyor belt. I like the pricing method and that they also offer hot food. The conveyor scene makes it fun and interesting to. No waiting on waiters and such. If you like sushi give this place a shot.

Really fun place to go with kids. A quick option for lunch. The sushi is good but not great --- feels and tastes a bit "mass produced". With the price increase added in, it is less of a destination for our family though we still tend to stop in while shopping at U-Village.

We visited the University Village branch of this local chain. The sushi is supposed to come at you on a rotary belt, but it wasn't working when we were there. Maybe we're spoiled by too many trips to Japan, but we thought the sushi here was just average.
