Made a quick stop here after some shopping at Pike Place Market (right across the street). First of all, well equipped to handle big crowds. I had the lobster roll which was okay (ones in Boston much better). But I also did try the clam chowder in a bread bowl, and it was probably the best I've had. Great service,... More

At first we weren't sure if we would stop because the line was somewhat long and there wasn't a lot of seating for eating; however, we were glad we decided to go for it! The staff was friendly, the line moved quickly, and we were able to snag a seat across the way. We got the 4 sampler chowder to... More

The place is very small but a lot of people were eating outside the restaurant. The cost of foods is very reasonable and perhaps we ate almost 2:00PM thus we tasted the food very good. Bread are free that made one to consume more bread which are good anyway. With many Customers eating business seems very good to them. This... More

Their Clam Chowder is what they are known for, but branch out and try the scallop soup. It is unbelievable! Worth the wait in line!

Worth the leisurely train ride from the airport! Had a several hour layover and could not have been happier with the accurate reviews! Don't let a long line intimidate you - their service is first rate & fast! Used the pick 4 - way too much for one person but so very delicious. My top two were Scallop Chowder &... More

Weekend in Seattle, the rain came down. Being a big fan of chowder and bisque, we arrived at this place. The line was over a block long, the rain was pouring, and people were sitting in tables outside, in the rain. It convinced us to stay and was well worth it. Best chowder in Washington.

Believe me it is worth the hype, I got lucky when I went the line was short, I only waited in line for 10 minutes. I got the New England chowder in a bowl. It was finger licking good. I should of got some to go haha. If you like sea food this is a must stop when you go... More

We had both the NE Clam Chowder and the Corn Chowder. Both were good, though I am not sure I would categorize them as out of this world good. They do offer small sizes so you can go and have snack and not be too full for dinner a couple of hours later.

Simply amazing Chowder! Had been told by friends a must try and was not disappointed. Nice portion, hot and fresh tasting. Had eaten other funds on Pike, but will be back soon and start here first. Don't miss it!

The best chowder I have ever had, including on the East Coast. Try all their flavors, but the NE Claw Chowder is delicious! The line gets very long, so get there early and give yourself time to wait. There is a second location up the street in the Pacific Place Mall, if you want faster service and don't mind leaving... More
