I loved the New England Clam chowder and I normally don't even like clams. But the flavor in this is just wonderful. I also tried the Smoke Salmon chowder, which was good, but can't beat the New England Clam. A friend and I shared the sampler, each picking two chowders. $6 each is a good deal.

Tried the 4 chowder sampler- ranks right up there with the best chowder I have tried and I live in San Francisco. Also tried the bay shrimp sandwich which was very good. Go for the experience and the overall vibe of the fish market area- great place to spend some time.

Good luck choosing your favorite chowder from all the options! I had a combo with halibut chowder and a spinach salad. The portions were big and prices were reasonable. Extra bread and oyster crackers are available and free Not much seating and only plastic tableware.

They have the best chowder I have ever had. The sourdough bread was very good as well. It is nice that someone is still making it actually sour. My favorite place to eat in Seattle.
