Went to this "jewel" to meet a friend for brunch while in Seattle. My first time in the Fremont area. Very good place to go for brunch. Great food and very trendy decor. We really enjoyed it.

Just wondered into this little neighborhood restaurant and was very pleased with service, atmosphere and food! Hard to explain the type of food. But we had a fantastic meal and I defiantly would eat here again, served family style, ment for shareing.

I met some friends here for dinner.... had only caught a glimpse of the menu online before I dashed out to work. Wow.... wow. So good. Interesting drinks. I tried two off the drinks menu...pretty good and not sweet which I like. The food.... kept us going back. The flavors were amazing and made you want to figure out what... More

We go to this Korean-fusion restaurant regularly and often take visitors there for the gastronomical experience. The menu features creative offerings that more than satisfy, with the "Wow" factor always present. For example, tonight three of us shared black rice risotto with salted black cod and fennel; roasted cauliflower with bonito and smoked yogurt; wag yu bavette with truffled pine... More

I had an excellent brunch here, and loved the format. The brunch is a set price, and for that, you order one a la cart dish off the menu and then there is a buffet-style spread of interesting sides, salads and baked goods. I opted for the shrimp and grits, which was one of the very bets versions of that... More

I'll make this short and sweet. I've now been to Joule three times over the past year. Each time the food and service has been good. Inventive flavors with twist on traditional Korean dishes that are still approachable. Last night we had the smoked tofu, Chinese broccoli, rice cakes and forbidden black rice. I'm used to this style of cold... More

Wonderful, astounding flavors. Great service. Interesting clientele. This restaurant, along with its sister restaurant Revel, always astound us. Bold and unusual flavors and superior quality ingredients. The only thing I might complain about is lack of ice in the water offered. Small complaint indeed.

I somehow missed the Korean connection, but the steak was outstanding and this is a great place to share dishes. Two of us sat outside and the firepit next to us was fired up the minute the sun went down. Lovely evening. Okay to park free behind the restaurant at night.

Our group comprised eight individuals and we shared about 10 dishes. The flavors were exceptional and unusual. Service was terrific and our waiter was especially helpful. Good selection of beers and wines.

We went with a group of 5, intending to eat next door at The Whale Wins. They were unable to accommodate our group, so we asked at Joule and were seated right away. Our group was able to sample a ton of great food with a bottle of wine (the Cinsault on recommendation from the waiter) for under $40 each.... More
