Consistent, good selection, and great prices

This place does a really nice job. They have a big bakery and also make a lot of other meals, many of which are sold frozen. They also have a little grocery featuring some fun products that you won't find anywhere. During my most recent visit, my wife and I picked up a few doughnuts and... read more

This small bakery on Rainier Avenue is amazing. The stars of the show are the wedding cakes. Seattle and Eastside brides have been ordering these beautiful cakes for years! They also do fabulous celebration cakes, birthdays, graduations, etc. I wouldn't think of celebrating Christmas with out Remo's red and green decorated cookies! Their bread sticks are one of a kind!... More

Borracchini's Bakery has been around for many years. Great cakes , cookies and more yummy treats. However today my friend and I had lunch there for the first time. What a mistake that was. The woman didn't understand English . We had to repeat ourselves more than twice on every part of our sandwich. On their menu they tell you... More

When I heard there was a genuine Italian bakery in Seattle I couldn't wait to go. Went there today. I saw none of the common pastries you find at Italian bakeries on the east coast. Like Lobster Tails, Sfogliatelle, Pasticiotti, Spugnetti, Amaretti, Pignoli, Baci, Giugiuleni, Savoiardi,Taralli, Canali or Vanigilini. I asked about ordering a cake. Then I found out they... More

While the customer service isn't always the best, the cakes make up for it. I am not normally a fan of store bought cakes because they tend to taste awful (Safeway frosting? No thank you!), but Remo's are always delicious. I'm not sure what they put in their frosting, but man oh man is it ever delicious. You don't get... More

This is a simple yet chaotic bakery, deli, grocery store - we love it. Prices are super reasonable for some home cooked goods. Our latest purchase was the Meat Cannelloni's ($7.76/lb) - delicious, a large meat & potato filled pocket sort of thing ($2.50/per) that looks like a calzone - very good, multiple pound cakes - reminded me of mom's.... Always go to borracchini's for any baked goods I need , always fresh and the best with a terrific variety from slightly to super sweet . Lately have started buying from the deli , super sandwiches ,soups , salads and main course meals , all like you wished you could make at home . Don't tell my friends but often... More

I have had my wedding cakes and shower cakes all made here. My daughter's big birthday cake was made here last May! They have all been terrific. In Dec. on my monthly visit to purchase my favorite Biscotti. I saw an Italian named cookie translated to mean "Ugly Cookies". They are dark black with a crackled white power on top.... More

After reading recent favorable reviews, I decided to revisit Borracchini's. I had not been to this historic bakery in my neighborhood for 3 or 4 years because of a couple of visits when the customer service was, at best, not helpful. I went on a mid week day when it was not busy and shopped slowly through all the aisles.... More

This is a Seattle treasure and a great bakery! The people are very nice and offer advice on wedding and special occasion cakes and bakery items.. They have been making fabulous cakes for years here. Remo Borrachini, the owner is still there most days, though he is in his 80's. They made my daughter's wedding cake and now they are... More
