My husband and I love to go here on casual date nights. I love the housemade pasta and chill vibe. My husband always gets the pear and goat cheese salad. It is a neighborhood joint, so you will see children in there during typical children-dining hours. We like it a lot, but don't go expecting fine dining. It's delicious food,... More

Things started off great, with a delicious goat cheese and pear salad. My husband had a pasta dish, which was good, my friend had the sole, which she said was tasty and I had the flank steak and couscous. While the flavor of the steak was good, it was quite tough. This little gem is so good and charming that is worth the trip even if Maple Leaf is not your neighborhood. I am italian and I love Cafe' Piccolo. I think its potential is way beyond just behing a neighborhood restaurant. The food is very good and authentic. There are several choices of hand-made pasta and traditional fares alongside more... Go right when they open! It is a small place and fills quickly. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much; from the appetizer to the entree to the panna cotta dessert! The server was very friendly and in tune with us. Very much a neighborhood feel! The prices were very affordable too.

This is a great little gem in the Maple Leaf Community on Roosevelt Way and NE 94th Street. Most of the patrons live within walking distance of the restaurant. It's a great place for a romantic date, good for nuclear families and a fine place to come with a fun book for a quiet dinner on your own. The food... More

Cafe Piccolo is locally owned and is a cozy spot located in north Seattle. We had a hearty meal and the waitress was friendly and welcoming. It's a casual place and reasonably priced. Great for families, birthdays and other events.
