Walk to our Neighborhood Italain

Cafe Piccolo is one of our staples in the neighborhood. It is a nice walk from our house and sort of a hole in the wall. We love it. The servers are always excellent and the wines specials are nice. The food is delicious and I have even learned a few things from their style of Italian cooking. This... read more

I would give this 5 stars if you have kids. There are a ton of toys for your kids to play with, either at the table or in the corner play area (which you can see from anywhere in the restaurant). The kid menus are also great. The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. The food is good but... More

Truly outstanding Italian spot with lots of house specialties and great servers. My wife said the Ahi was the best she'd ever had, my lasagna was terrific and not over done with mozzarella - which is made in-house. Our dried fig, dried pear, blue cheese, cashews and greens salad was superb too. A diverse wine-by-the-glass list, and outstanding panna cotta... More

Terrific Italian food prepared as you order, not way in advance. This small neighborhood restaurant is a real find - homey with very freshly prepared food.

This small, non-flashy little restaurant is one of a limited number of choices in a not particularly trendy part of town. So I didn't go in expecting much beyond red sauce, but was pleasantly surprised. The place has a low-key neighborhoody feel but really good creative food and top-notch service, for pretty reasonable prices. We had a variety of dishes,... More

This is a small Italian restaurant off the beaten path in Seattle. You will have to make an effort to find the place and then find a place to park as the only parking available is curbside parking along a city street in a local neighborhood. All of the effort is worthwhile. The food is very authentic, priced reasonably, and... More

Love this cute little Italian place in the Maple Leaf neighborhood. Delicious menu items plus incredible, specials. We shared the antipasto plate and special mushroom bruschetta to start, which was plenty for the four of us. My MiL had the big salad, which was ample. I had the bucatini with puttanesca sauce, and my uncle had another tasty pasta dish (sorry... More

We have been to Cafe Piccolo twice. Both times the food was very good. We went with friends and wanted somewhere where would could talk. This is an intimate, cozy, little, neighborhood cafe. Love it! The desserts are outstanding. The three of us shared appetizers, entrees and desserts and loved them all. Will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to this wonderful neighborhood gem. Plenty of space between tables so you can carry on a conversation even though the place is very busy. I had the Ravioli Sage & Brown Butter. I added the locally made Italian sausage which made a perfect combination. The Ravioli is made on the premises and they are large... More

We've been coming here for several years, and have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The salads are delicious, and the main courses and specials are very good. I really like the eggplant Parmesan and the squid pasta with squid ink. The wine selection is great. The waiters are very pleasant and helpful. The room is very pleasant and... More
