A very nice local Italian eatery!

This is a small Italian restaurant off the beaten path in Seattle. Love this cute little Italian place in the Maple Leaf neighborhood. Delicious menu items plus incredible, specials. We shared the antipasto plate and special mushroom bruschetta to start, which was plenty for the four of us. My MiL had the big salad, which was ample. I had the bucatini with puttanesca sauce, and my uncle had another tasty pasta dish (sorry... More

We have been to Cafe Piccolo twice. Both times the food was very good. We went with friends and wanted somewhere where would could talk. This is an intimate, cozy, little, neighborhood cafe. Love it! The desserts are outstanding. The three of us shared appetizers, entrees and desserts and loved them all. Will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to this wonderful neighborhood gem. Plenty of space between tables so you can carry on a conversation even though the place is very busy. I had the Ravioli Sage & Brown Butter. I added the locally made Italian sausage which made a perfect combination. The Ravioli is made on the premises and they are large... More

We've been coming here for several years, and have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The salads are delicious, and the main courses and specials are very good. I really like the eggplant Parmesan and the squid pasta with squid ink. The wine selection is great. The waiters are very pleasant and helpful. The room is very pleasant and... More

I have been here several times, but this was the best ever. The waiter was excellent and the food was delicious. Plus, it was a night that they were featuring their carafes of wine at 50% off, so that was a nice benefit. It was my sister's birthday and they treated her to a nice dessert. It's a nice little... My husband and I love to go here on casual date nights. I love the housemade pasta and chill vibe. My husband always gets the pear and goat cheese salad. It is a neighborhood joint, so you will see children in there during typical children-dining hours. We like it a lot, but don't go expecting fine dining. It's delicious food,... More

Things started off great, with a delicious goat cheese and pear salad. My husband had a pasta dish, which was good, my friend had the sole, which she said was tasty and I had the flank steak and couscous. While the flavor of the steak was good, it was quite tough. I know flank steak can be chewy, but I... More

This little gem is so good and charming that is worth the trip even if Maple Leaf is not your neighborhood. I am italian and I love Cafe' Piccolo. I think its potential is way beyond just behing a neighborhood restaurant. The food is very good and authentic. There are several choices of hand-made pasta and traditional fares alongside more...
