We had a most delicious lunch there, and chose the "Hot & Sour Soup with Dumplings". What a great choice it was on a grey, breezy day! There are 8 generous huge dumplings in the soup. It was served with a smile, after an appetizer of cucumbers, cabbage and sprouts. Loved the garlic sauce! And the never empty tea pot.

Just a couple of miles west of I5 at 145th in north Seattle is this little whole in the wall that looks a bit dodgy but if you pass it up, you will miss a good find. An unassuming cafe style feel. Kimmie and I shared a bowl of the spinach tofu egg flower soup.....YUMMI. The garlic and chili dipping... More

We have not been back in a long time. Very disappointed that they no longer make the leek pancakes, our favorite item. Asked the guy why, he says "not worth the cost, no profit". Well, charge a little bit more. Ordered 24 dumplings plate, plus 2 small bowls of hot n sour soup. With the complimentary pickled green, made a... More

It looks like a hole in the wall, but the dumplings are truly the best in town, and they go well in the hot and sour soup - which I swear has mystical abilities to heal;-) The two gentlemen in the dining room have a way of covering all the tables efficiently, as they dole out their dry wit along... I have gotten take out from this restaurant a few times. I don't really like the dumplings for which they are "famous," but I do like their Chow Mien. I called to order take out this evening, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I found other things to do before heading home, and arrived about 22... More

Stopped by for the first time yesterday, ready for lunch. Not a huge menu but still a pretty good list of offerings. Since I was solo, I knew I wouldn't get to sample other dishes, so I went for the Hot and Sour Soup with Dumplings. I was presented with a large beautiful bowl of rich tangy broth laced with... GARLIC ginger sauce that is to die for. Yum! Green onion pancakes are amazing as well as the dumplings, of course.

I have had lunch twice a Fu Man. The decor is certainly rather dingy and I would not go here on a fancy date. But the food at lunch is good and plentiful. I have had their dumplings and most recently a garlic tofu dish. In this case, the tofu was not fried, which typically is my preference, but despite... More

Call ahead and bring them home! Food is awesome, but the place is TINY! The boiled dumplings, roast chicken, and the hot & sour soup are the best!

I can still taste that fabulous garlic sauce!!! No, you don't have to have it if you don't like garlic, it's served separately. Our group of 4 hungry hikers found just the right items on the menu, one of our friends had to have gluten-free food, she had the Hot & Sour Soup. We also enjoyed the "Hot & Sour... More
