We went to Art of the Table for a special occasion and sat at the communal table for the Chef's Tasting with wine pairing. We were there for a very long time, 9 or so courses. The service was great. The pairings were substantial, and paired very well with each course. I just didn't find any of the courses to... More

We enjoyed a very creative 9 course meal. Each dish was full of flavour with local meats, seafood and greens. This is less expensive alternative to fine dining rather that the Herb farm. Service and presentation was excellent. The dishes came paced well and chef made adjustments to suit our preferences for some of the dishes. Would definately come back... More

It pains me even to leave a bad review, but this restaurant experience was just that disappointing, especially because I was so excited to eat here. I've eaten everywhere from Michelin restaurants to taxi driver hangouts, and this place was far the most pretentious restaurant I've been to in my life. The sommelier/bar guy was surly and rude. Maybe it's... More

The food was an experience. Each of the 9 courses was well planned and pulled off beautifully. I made my reservation online and was pleasantly surprised to be phoned back to confirm within a few hours. I can see why people say to sit at the chef's window as you get to look right into the prep area of the... More

Let's hear it for The Nightly Nibbles! 9 small courses paired with wines that are perfectly tuned to each plate; never had an experience quite like it. Not your usual upscale restaurant tiny bites, for which you pay through the nose, and leave feeling more than a little ripped off. We were VERY happy with the chef's use of flavor... More

Opted for the Tasting menu where you can sit back, relax, and let course after course arrive in front of you and we were NOT disappointed!! Every item brought a new set of flavors worthy of any occasion from birthdays to anniversaries to a regular night out! We sat in the chefs window where you are literally almost in the... More

We had a wonderful dinner here the day after Thanksgiving. This is a tiny restaurant, I would guess it seats about 35 -- some at a communal table. Our group of four was seated at a counter directly overlooking the kitchen, so we had the opportunity to observe and chat with owner/chef Dustin Ronspies and his hard-working team. This was... More

This is a tiny restaurant with a tiny menu but the food is fantastic! Mostly locally grown, fresh and inventive. Unusual cocktails, artisan beer and wine. Attentive, knowledgeable staff. It was the best meal of our 4 days in Seattle.

For foodies of all ages, it is essential to dine at Art of the Table. The nine course menu is well worth the price and I highly recommend the wine pairing. The menu is so creative and perfectly executed. It was possibly the best dining experience of my life.

I live in Seattle and have been to Art of the Table on numerous occasions. It is about the only place I've even been that each time I go, it just bets better and better. If you're traveling to Seattle, this spot epitomizes the Seattle restaurant scene, as many restaurants have tried to duplicate the formula (set menu, communal dining)... More
