A real gem of a place! Each plate is well-balanced in flavor and texture, everything worked beautifully together. My favorites from the evening were stuffed zucchini (amazing flavors) and seared duck breast. Fantastic food, great service, easy-going atmosphere - a great value at $85 for a 9-course tasting menu + $40 for wine pairing!

communal and the 8 private for 2. We went for dinner for two and it was a nice and quiet Sunday. The staff is great and it is in a homey side street of Wallingford. The waitress was great. Her first comment was try the pasta. I made it myself this afternoon! Turns out she's the former she's the former... More

Let's start off by saying that when food is prepared as fresh and with as much care as it is served at Art of the Table, the portion size becomes a secondary factor. Yes, as some of the reviews note regarding this restaurant, the portions are small. But, think of them as explosive small bites, each portion being worth maybe... More

We have been here a few times now and love it every time. The quality of the food served is always fresh and is locally sourced from what I read on the website, it definitely tasted fresh. My 14 year old requested the tasting menu when we were there last night and we were not disappointed. I usually am not... More

we went here the first time and sat at the bar on a saturday night and it had a reasonable atmosphere but was a little pretentious for a neighbourhood restaurant. The drinks were good but a bit overpriced and the food was mediocre - nothing remarkable - small portions, not filling for the tasting menu and quite overpriced. However, as... More

When a restaurant charges premium prices and boasts it’s special, good food is a given and the ambience should entice. Right? Well how would you like your meal in a New York subway car or a couple of blenders whirring on your table? My wife and I received vouchers for the tasting menu plus wine flite. The small dining room... More

My partner and I went here for dinner at the end of our holiday and had the tasting menu. At first we were keen on our table as it was slightly raised and looking out at the other tables so didn't feel very intimate. But actually the place has a great vibe so it didn't really matter. The food itself... More

This restaurant is tucked away in a residential neighbourhood. Thankfully it isn't far off a main road so it wasn't hard to find. The restaurant is very small so you should make a reservation to be sure you have a table. We elected to make a reservation at 7 p.m. for the Chef's Table. Unfortunately we were the only people...
