Swung in here as we were starving on a Sunday about 3:15pm. The place was packed with two large parties, but we were promptly seated in the back corner away from the crowds. The lemongrass beef satay was fantastic, as was the lemongrass chicken meal and 'morning glory' greens. Two of us split everything and we had more food than... More

On a family visit to Seattle from NYC I was craving Vietnamese food and looking for a place to eat noodles on my birthday (a long standing tradition.) After reading the other Trip Advisor reviews we decided to give Tamarind Tree a try, and we were NOT disappointed! Don't let the strip-mall asian-market vibe outside deter you. We arrived towards... I love this place. The fresh spring rolls are my favorite. Love the soy stick in the middle. I would give this a 5 but I have experienced mediocre service a couple times. I will continue to eat here!! My favorite is the spicy beef lemongrass vermicelli bowls! I wish they had a better parking space but what do you... More

This is the place where you can find excellent traditional Vietnamese food, while expecting your waiter to speak English. You could certainly find more typical places in the area, but this is likely the best compromise if you don't speak fluent Vietnamese. Beer and wine list is quite limited, but food menu is just amazing. And at a very reasonable... More

My sure you make a reservation if you're going on a weekend evening. Two favorite dishes are Tamarind Tree Rolls and the Turmeric Coconut Rice Cakes both are excellent. The noodle bowls are also very good. The servings are very generous so it's easy to share with friends. I have been many many times and never been disappointed. The food... More

This may have once been a neighborhood gem, but the TT's service and food are not up to the modern decor. Drinks were slow in coming, very slow, and the entrees were mixed up with our neighboring table. The food was only fare, and we were rushed out the door at the end of the meal. Not a relaxing Saturday... More

Don't miss this gem, tucked into the corner of a parking lot in the International District of Seattle. We had their signature Tamarind Tree Rolls (amazing!) and the Turmeric Coconut Rice Cakes . . . a delight of herbs and other wrappings that go around a delectable rice cake topped with a shrimp. I have been craving this ever since... More

This was the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever visited. Delicious food; good variety. Portions were generous. Location is not easy to find without clear directions.

Highly recommended by several colleagues. The food was plentiful, but just average tasting. The restaurant was full so it must be popular. My friends and I were disappointed.

You will pay more to find a place this good or better. Our very favorite restaurant anywhere. We have been there over a dozen times and it is consistently excellent. The menu is big to navigate but you can ask for help from the great staff.
