This was our first dinner on our Seattle trip. Every thing about the meals was wonderful. We started with an heirloom tomato salad with anchovy and eggplant. The salad had nice acidity and balance to make it lively. Next we had the chanterelle dish with grilled bread and an egg yolk. This dish appears on their menu most often and... More

OK - -this restaurant came highly recommended, and the food was really good. But Seattle in the summer can be hot and Seattle-ites are in denial about the need for AC. We were sitting at a table in the evening sun (yes - blazing sun at 9PM) and it was about 90 degrees with no AC and a mini-fan blowing... More

Eclectic, authentic, memorable. The night I had dinner there they had a plate of chanterelles, snap peas, fino & raw egg yolk on grilled bread that was nothing short of amazing. Still daydreaming about it....

Seattle is the home of relaxed ambiance and wonderful food. Sikta & Spruce is a textbook example. Certainly not a fancy setting, but you will walk out after dinner wondering when you can return for another meal there.

Quite the culinary experience in Seattle. I really can't remember specifically what I ate, but can say it was a transformative experience. The menu changes, as any good restaurant would do, but everything was so fresh and flavorful, I wouldn't hesitate to return. We were a party of 4 at the "communal table" and had a fantastic assortment of bread... More

I was ready to love this place, had read a ton about it, was in town for one night from Boston and made reservations far in advance. Sitka & Spruce has a lot going for it - great atmosphere and location, we got to sit at the chef's table overlooking the homey kitchen, super friendly staff, solid wine list and... More

Really unusual but delicious and creative dishes. Loved the warm cucumber and lemon dish, great heirloom tomato dish. All were excellent. Would definitely recommend. Cocktails were excellent as well.

Sitka and Spruce was an easy walk from my hotel and has a very nice market outside it during the day. Everything I ate was very good, especially the pickled plate (a pickled egg, homemade kimchee, pickled beets, and pickles). For my entree, I got a charred broccoli salad with butter poached oyster mushrooms, and almonds. It was very rich... More

Every plate we tried was amazing. The way they put a few flavors together that pair perfectly is excellent. We tried things we wouldn't have chosen at other places and were greatly impressed wit the result. It was nice to go on a Monday night so it was quieter than normal. The dining space is cozy and well designed, it's... More
