I was amazed with the selection of excellent quality vegetables and the portion sizes were great so that we could share a few different things. The beets were amazing and when I created a bite with all the components I was truly impressed. Would be happy to return again soon, excellent meal!

The small menu looks simple but each dish is layered and complex. Dining solo could only try a couple of dishes. A carrot and yogurt dish was full of bright sharp flavours. Soft scrambled eggs with shaved mushrooms and mustard seed was much more subtle but full of depth. Small but very nice wine by glass selection. The servers were... More

Enjoyed the food because they try to use what's in season and use unusual ingredients to prepare meat and vegetables.

I was split between Bar Sajor and Sitka & Spruce, and went for Sitka. The space itself is pretty intimate, shabby chic rustic, communal feel which was nice and warm. The open kitchen space was cool and the focus on local and seasonal was what I wanted. The food itself was good, I went in with high expectations and actually... More

My spouse and I dined at Sitka & Spruce on a Sunday afternoon for brunch in early August 2014. We made a reservation on-line using the Open Table reservation system. Sitka & Spruce is open for lunch on weekdays, brunch on weekends, and dinner daily. Parking is available on the street, or in a nearby parking lot or garage (such... More

Sitka & Spruce, at the back of the market, makes use of its industrial space well; softened with white-painted exposed brick, raw timber, fresh flowers and dainty flickering candles in glass votives. And with a focus on the fab produce of the Northwest, each ingredient shines no matter how it’s prepared. When bread is as good as this it deserves... More

The food is far more interesting than the menu makes it out to be. Every dish I've ever had is simple, but with wonderful, unique flavors. The quality of the food raises the bar on simple dishes like omelets or salads. You are not just getting a soup or an omelet or something else, you're able to enjoy a terrific... More

This is not just a place to eat or drink - it is a fun place to walk around and watch the fresh farm to table meat being butchered, try the good quantity of wines and beer and cocktails (the staff created a unique cocktail for my wife), great sandwiches, wonderful cheese selection and salads. Friendly staff, great variety of... More

This was our first dinner on our Seattle trip. Every thing about the meals was wonderful. We started with an heirloom tomato salad with anchovy and eggplant. The salad had nice acidity and balance to make it lively. Next we had the chanterelle dish with grilled bread and an egg yolk. This dish appears on their menu most often and... More

OK - -this restaurant came highly recommended, and the food was really good. But Seattle in the summer can be hot and Seattle-ites are in denial about the need for AC. We were sitting at a table in the evening sun (yes - blazing sun at 9PM) and it was about 90 degrees with no AC and a mini-fan blowing... More
