No nonsense food of first class quality

Had lunch here with colleagues while visiting Seattle for a conference. Great looking farmer market style place. We sat at a table directly connecting to the open kitchen. Parsnips, Tuna, and Beets were all inspired dishes. I ordered them to share with my dinner partner and we were glad we both got to taste all three. We didn't leave any morsels--not even a crumb of the sourdough bread. Server was well-informed and very pleasant. Extra staff was strong too. We sat at the "bar" and felt like we... More

This is my 2nd visit to Sitka & Spruce and I was equally impressed with the food and the overall experience on both visits. The menu is inventive, local and fresh and the service is attentive. I really enjoy the styling of the restaurant, the little touches and the bar area.

There is nothing to say except superb, excellent, over the top, amazing, if you don't go you're missing out on an unprecedented culinary experience. Logan, the executive chef, has created flavor combinations that are incredible, a true master at his craft. The servers are extremely knowledgeable about ingredients, preparation, wine selections, etc. Again if there was a score higher than... More

Love this restaurant. Second time here. Has such a wonderful atmosphere, incredible service and amazing food. The food is very creative with a local Northwest orientation.

Amazing food accompanied by a great atmosphere. The restaurant is designed so you are seating literally inside the kitchen. We came here by recommendation of Lonely Planet and the restaurant exceeded our expectations.

Anthony Bourdain spoke highly of Sitka & Spruce on his 24 Hour Lay-Over show, so I thought I'd try it. It was one of the most creative meals I've had in years and the ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. I had the stuffed delicata squash, pork sausage, cured yolk & creme fraiche for a starter which truly blew me... More

This is a great lunch restaurant. The atmosphere is rustic but modern. The style is family style. The food is very well prepared, fresh and the choice of ingredients very good. I would go back there for sure,

I was amazed with the selection of excellent quality vegetables and the portion sizes were great so that we could share a few different things. The beets were amazing and when I created a bite with all the components I was truly impressed. Would be happy to return again soon, excellent meal!
